I really enjoyed watching The Bucket List here in Houston I've been in Houston Texas for like 40 years but I am from Georgia and I enjoy your show very much and I also watch Houston Life With Derek and Courtney they cracked me up today Courtney and her family they went to the Smokies for vacation they start at Nashville Tennessee and near Fort for Pigeon close to Dollywood around the smokies and have a Cassius and how they had this up against the bear I got so tickled at her because I have never been around that with me band from I was born in the wrong raised in Conyers but my adult life was in Atlanta Georgia so wrong band the tip end of Knoxville Tennessee about 50 55 miles the Ruby Falls I mean the mountains are beautiful Smoky Mountains Gatlinburg Helen Georgia Dillard Georgia of course Dollywood then you got Cherokee North Carolina you got this focus is breathtakingly beautiful on any given day is beautiful but I got so sick with them but their experiences how wow at the how what they would have wouldn't do it if they run up against a bear but it's just so funny how we live in different parts of the country and our experiences and I just had a ball listen them today it was just I enjoy the show so much that I have to say that they were totally into it and about the Smokies if it if you get a chance anyone owes it to themselves to go to the Smoky Mountains it's an experience that she will never forget and it was just so easy for me because it was nothing for us to go there on the weekend and my husband at that time would go to Helen Georgia every weekend just to have a lot on a Saturday and go tubing download The Creeks The Rock's it was just it was just normal for us and and we had a ball we enjoy the food the car that you know Helen Georgia are there so that's how it's made by German and they're supposed to have different restaurants there this is old I could just go on and on about the restaurants all over the place but I love Cherokee I love the whole exterus a band in the mountains now I would not want to live there my sister one of my sister she's passed the way they may she rest in peace but she loved being there in the summer months with the Indians and she was so at peace with him and they totally took her in and but I think they say hi all the time if it was a vodka it was marijuana that's that was her laugh that's why she enjoy doing and I am not anyone to knock what she done but that was not me I was I was the city girl I was just I would just go visit just for the experience and I loved it but couldn't wait to get back home to my lifestyle but we have a beautiful country in America people goat go visit and there's places All Over Texas the Hill Country night. I love the Hill Country out of Houston on the way to Austin or San Antonio San Marcos Bandera although there wineries is just breathtaking there's Beauty everywhere take advantage of it we are very fortunate we have a RV Class C and we have the privilege thank God when we feel like it we just up and go wheel of the Hill Country we have the RV we don't have to worry about expensive hotels or motels are the expensive restaurants that allows us with more money to spend on really enjoying the view spending more time in these places visiting souvenirs getting ourselves a a little trait the experience of it all it's just it's an experience I'm 75 now I am retired but I have a lifetime of traveling with my husband long story won't go into it but I have been probably in every state every city every little town but we were only there for about a week but not really long enough to where I could really go and enjoy myself cuz of that time I had two babies but some I've had the privilege of going back and really enjoying the history of the little town I could just go on and on but I had to mention about Houston life today I really enjoyed the show but of course I watch The Bucket List as well all the time and enjoy him very much he does such a great job

Just south of Dallas, practically on the edge of the big city. I live in Dallas, but grew up in ET. I consider this to be just outside the bleeding edge of East Texas, but damn those burgers look good. I'll have to make a short trip.

I lived in Lufkin for a few years and ate there a few times , good burgers. You must also go to Natchitoches , Louisiana( pronounced nak a dish) and try Marie's old fashioned burgers . Natchitoches is locally known for its meat pies. Try the French market . But if you know some locals they make by far the best meat pies in the south. Yes this was about burgers but when I think of Natchitoches ,La. meat pies come to mind. Also check the history of how these 2 cities were founded..Very interesting.

My family and I we have eight in there that it was very good very good but it's been quite a while and this is another place close to San Marcos that was on the side of the road I could get it on my gosh you talked about the best hamburger I've ever had in my life and then sit like a country Shack but when you walked in it was just out of this world with food Marry You fries or onion rings let me tell you something you got you got your money's worth and it was delicious I wish I could think of the name of that restaurant but they're everywhere around the Hill Country is everywhere just getting to it
