I do think the Nets just need something positive these days, but VC getting retired isn’t a surprise. Him being there 5 years seems like a while when you compare it to PP, KG, KD, Kyrie, Harden. And he was very well liked and still around the organization as a broadcaster. Different teams have different jersey retirement standards and the Nets aren’t a franchise who can have high standards

I think if Anthony Edwards is bringing the ball up and has to give the ball to another player and then try to get open to get the ball back then Denver gains an advantage by just shortening the shot clock. It's not a gigantic advantage but it's a small one and in close games small advantages may just make the difference.🎉

But Aaron Gordon was never an amazing #1. Mitchell is too good to fit into this. Bridges is a really good one. Iguadola is a good comp as well. A number 2 that was called on to be a number 1 guy who eventually becomes a number 3/4 on a championship team. Siakim seems like a similar player…could he become that for the Pacers? They don’t have a good enough number 2 currently.

Halliburton a fake all star. Cant use the "he's a willing passer" excuse in a crucial game. He a front runner and looks great when his team his up but during adversity, he sinks back. He's talented sure but def not leading his team at the most difficult moments.
He looked fantastic early in the season. I know these are the moments that matter, but sometimes players can be really hurt or something else going on. I will cut him some slack, It is his first real run, we do not really know what goes behind the scenes, we know he rushed back because of 65 game rule, injury probably lingered for months and it was just getting worse.
