If you continue to film things to the level that you are filming them then this whole videos series should be a major help to people in the future building a rig to race.
another great one. Take care of that shoulder. Just because it is feeling better doesn't mean a thing. I speak from experience my left shoulder has been completely rebuilt. And just for fun I broke my arm about a inch down from the rotator. . not fun!. But rehab solves most things.
Yep, but still decided to do it. Might as well since we already had everything off. No reason not to, and now we could add a blower and not have to redo all of this 🤙🏻
@@JKGearandGadgets You thought about using a impact tool to put the harmonic balancer on the crank shaft, but elected not too. I was saying using an impact tool / drive pounds on the connecting rod bearing, so and impact tool, should never be issued on a crankshaft. You choose the right solution to put it on. Without an impact tool, guess I wasn't clear.
I thought about it, but that’s another $2500 for the builders kit and a lot of body work and I think they estimate 100 something hours for the job, we just don’t have that much time with everything else to do. And I think they had a long lead time when I looked months ago. With this setup at a wheelbase of 110-112” I think it’ll be hard to beat with an amazing breakover and departure angle. It’s a great kit for sure though.
Good info. I was just curious because it seemed like your Jeep would be an awesome fit for that kit. Thank you for putting out awesome content and for taking the time to respond to my comment.
But there’s no harm in doing it, why not ya know! Plus, if we ever supercharge it, it’s already done, no need to pull stuff apart to do something that could have been done in the first place
That doesn’t sound right. I’ll check later tonight, lately TH-cam has been automatically been adding ads throughout the video (part of a new process apparently), usually I have time to remove some of them, but with surgery last week I haven’t had too much time to mess around on my computer
I have a suggestion.... you don't need to follow it but you guys should turn cassies channel into a vlog/ long trip road and off road channel... just so the channel doesn't go to waste....it might be a lot more work but it'll be worth it in the end... and then of course have links to that channel on this channel because of course this is your more popular channel and you'll be able to have new viewers that are exploring this channel to also possibly check out that channel and bring up the popularity of that channel.... I know it's a lot but it's food for thought... something to think about for the future... you might be able to do both the filming kind of together and just edit the videos you take to fit either channels needs... sorry for rambling

I see Dad's a pro turning wrenches. Don't you love it when our Dads come to visit and we put them to work!!!
God bless our Dads!!!🤙🏼
I'm really enjoying watching this build and am surprised you are not sitting on 500k subscribers!
I know right 🤷🏻♀️
Great build!!! Your use of the sling is awesome…it’s like extra leverage 😂😂😂. Great video as always👍🏻👍🏻
Glad Cassie is back
Great progress and amazing building skills Ben. I have been very impressed by this series so far
Epic. Hope surgery goes well. Heal fast.

Good luck with recovering
It’s coming along nicely 👍🏻
Love the way its coming along
That FLEX!!🏁
I’m loving this
Heck ya! Where did you learn to do all this
Use nitrile gloves when using anti-seize and you won't end up with it everywhere.
Only on a blower setup do you need to pin the balancer to the crank.
Yep, but still decided to do it. Might as well since we already had everything off. No reason not to, and now we could add a blower and not have to redo all of this 🤙🏻
Wow what did you do to your arm.
Slam the bearing with air hammer, I think you made right choose, why test the process?
Huh?

@@dondupuis4007 ahh gotcha!
Why not do a Jeep works 10” body and frame stretch?

I really want to build another stretched JK, non KOH rig haha. Will probably do it on that one in the future for sure
No need for loctite on balancer bolt unless running a supercharger off of it!
Not being critical just informative!

You are correct though. Same with pinning the crank, no need really, but might as well!
👍
my comercial was for a EV...
Mate, 5 adds only 11mins into the video. Your killing me here

Dude you’re really losing weight, life style change, or?
