    It’s hard to tell where your at with the build by watching the videos, because obviously allowing time for editing and posting, you might be a few weeks further into the build than what we’re seeing.
    So, how’s it going? Are you and your team confident at this point that you’ll make it in time for KoH?
    I’m super excited that y’all will! Can’t wait for February!

    I found that using Air soft bbs it’s good to use a lighter size to prevent to much weight in on spot. And keep a small shop vac for tire changes then reweigh I found it wears about 5-10 bbs in dust weight that needs to be replaced

    Good job on the build. Its looking good. I noticed you lined up the valve stem with the bar code on the tires. I tend to do the same and it seems to reduce the amount of weight needed for balancing. I did my BFG KM3 tires that way and ran them without balancing for a few weeks without shakes between 60-65 mph

    Ben I had the same intake for my YJ build on a 6.0 LS. Looked great except The throttle body slammed into the radiator. Some crawlers flip the top around and run an intake piping through cab. I had to go with an LSX intake. I would put the grill on and go from there.

    You may have some issues with tying the coil over towers together with the intake so tall. Mines a tight fit with a TBSS intake

    • @JKGearandGadgets
      @JKGearandGadgets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should clear, hopefully… lol. I set the engine way lower than a typical JK LS swap

    • @Overburden_JK-ChrisCriner
      @Overburden_JK-ChrisCriner ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JKGearandGadgets mines pretty low too. Hopefully it will work. Mines a Rubicon 10A hood so it has the drop down in the center with the vents so that didn’t help. 😂

    Sent you a msg on Instagram, I’m an ultra4 racer as well (actually also building a 4500 JK now but very differently) on something I noticed. Probably too late to change but something to think about.
