- Bald eagle walking on the beach at Anchor Point on the Cook Inlet and Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. The eagle was enjoying a fish snack when a tractor drove by and scared him away. The seagulls immediately swooped in to munch on the eagle's snack, but they flew away as soon as the eagle returned. More at www.npexp.com/cook-inlet/ licensing@rumble

I can’t believe that throughout my entire life on this planet, I have never seen a bald eagle walk until right now.
Watched a bald eagle catch a salmon & swim across the Skagit river Washington, with it using wings like a swimmer uses their arms. The bird was exhausted upon reaching the shore & just stood there with it for a little while, then commenced eating it. Watched a Blue Heron catch a fish in the slough. As he stood there with it in his beak, two eagles came screaming down the channel, like fighter jets. The crane dropped the fish, when one eagle knocked into him & took off, the other eagle grabbed the fish & ate it. Cranes do have wicked beaks, but close up the eagles are really big

For those who don't get it most animals that evolved as prey have evolved with eyes more on the side, to better see sneaking predators, while predators have forward eyes to focus on prey, hell the owl can't even move his eyes
admiral of the red yes they do... they need forward facing eyes so they can focus their vision on prey... it’s one of the many reasons eagles have some of the best eyesights. It’s actually why most predators have good eyesight, it’s because when you have forward facing eyes, you get a cross of the two eyes ( think of 2 cones of view overlapping ) and that cross area has exceptionally better clarity than any other portion of the field of view
