Ser mel share ko lang din. 100% synthetic is different from fully synthetic. Fully synthetic is just another marketing term for a synthetic blend,.. so mix padin sya ng mineral, synthetic and some additives. Kase dba meron oil naka indicate fully synthetic sa label. So ayon its just another made up word for a mineral oil mix with synthetic oil.
Pero pag sinabi 100% synthetic. Wala na usapan pa yun na yon. 💯💯💯

Bonus lang po ako sa sinabi ni ser mel, kaya din po mineral ang ginagamit kapag sa break in period is because para malubricate pati pinakasingit singit ng engine, di katulad kapag sobrang lapot kagad ang ginamit kapag break in period hindi nakakapag circulate ng maigi sa engine and it can cause scratches (due to lack of lubrication) dun sa loob ng engine.

I appreciate the time and effort that's been put together to come up with such informative video...good job...on a side note gusto ko lang e-clarify yong points mo sa JASO classification...please note that yong MA classification ay para sa mga motorcycle with wet clutch and transmission sa loob mismo ng engine crankcase meaning hindi lang para sa chain drive na nabangit kundi pati belt drive kagaya ng Harley softtail...ang MB naman ay para sa gearless bike or better known as scooters...finally ang MA ay pwedeng gamitin sa gearless or scooter pero ang MB is definitely not recommended for bikes with wet clutch system....tungkol naman doon sa mineral or yong tinatawag na conventional oil, blends or full synthetic ang masabi ko lang ay if you guys ride a performance bike i recommend full synthetic pero daily rider lang or mga bike na di medyo kamahalan conventional is fine...the key is to use the right grade and classification at ang tamang interval ng oil change as specified in the manual...unless you have the money to burn then by all means get the most expensive ones and make them oil makers richer...Lol...ride safe people

good explanation boss, malinaw at mauunawaan.... idagdag ko lang para sa ibang viewers, yung S ibig sabihin for spark ignition engine o gasoline engine, yung C for compression ignition engine or diesel engine.. with visual example- very informative sir, at tama yung ibang nakalagay sa label ay marketing strategy lang ng company to entice consumers..
Substantial Info, comprehensive, and detailed. Nice content sir. Taga Baguio ako at sabi sa manual ng motor ko 20w50 ang gamitin. Pansin ko nga yung mabagal na start up mga 5-10 minutes bago maging normal yung tunog at RPM ng idle speed. Gusto ko sana mag 10w40 kaso pag akyatan na babaran sa rpm at mainit ang makina parang mas maganda ata yung 20w50 kasi malapot pag high temp. Kung may 10w50 lang sana, para mabilis ang start up pero nandun padin ung lapot sa high working temperature ng makina sa babaran ng RPM paakyat, meron nga kayang ganong oil sir?

To give you an answer na rin, as per kay Sir Mel, sa factory pa lang naka break in na po talaga yang mga motor natin, soft break in is for the owner po para po mapag aralan or magamay kung paano ba takbuhan ng motor na binili nyo, the hard break in is for you to know what is the potential ng binili nyong motor, sabi ni Sir Mel, sya daw ay combination ng dalawa.

Good Explanation so far i would just like to point out some things.
100% Synthetic is different from Fully Synthetic! For your correction delo is Mineral base Oil ISOSYN TEC is just an additive it doesn't mean its semisynthetic oil.. Winter is characterized as 0°C and below not Tagaytay or Bagio having 10°C...
And you should also include not all oils are made equal

THE PROBLEM WITH ‘FULL SYNTHETIC’ OIL
The main problem with oils is that there is no actual regulation for what comprises an oil, or what is required of an oil, for it to be classed “Full-Synthetic”.
Fact is, in many cases, oils claimed to be fully synthetic are often made by highly refining and synthesising mineral oils to achieve a higher degree of purity than would otherwise have been achievable. Other times they may also be made using a large degree of actual synthetic oil, but are still not essentially “Full” synthetic by any means. They would more appropriately still be semi-synthetic oils.
As you can imagine, it pays to check with the oil manufacturer on what the base stocks of their Fully Synthetic Oil are actually made of. A lot of the time, you’ll be quite surprised to learn that they are actually not fully synthetic oils at all in nature, only by marketing name.
With the benefit of the doubt - it could well be 100% synthetic oil… but it could also be 90%, or 60%, or even 2%. In short, fully synthetic oil is a marketing term that in no way defines the quantity of synthetic content.

It's an experiment after all, it is exaggerated to show the difference of the various viscosities. I'm from Baguio and I've used Yamalube (20w-40) and Motul (5w-40). You can definitely feel the difference between the two, even if it's not actually freezing point zero degree temperature.

Base on my experience sir as mechanic kahit hindi naggamit ang machine basta na reach ang hour meter or kilometer reading nag changed oil n kami mc nagging acidic ang langis..kaya baba ang viscosity level ng oil..how much more p sa single piston kaya dapat ng I change oil yan..nag mmoist yan halo sa oil kaya magging acidic sya..

I wish you have also explain the oil condition when it reaches the boiling point in order to know which among them will build carbon deposit specially on the valve seats and spark plugs which is very important not to have those carbon build up to avoid misfiring when any engine is in operation.
Valve seats? Di dapat umaabot ang langis dun ser. Gasolina at hangin lang ang nagpapacarbon build up sa valve seats.
@@SerMelMoto : Intake Valve yes, but what about the Exhaust Valve??? Where all gas & oil fumes that was burnt use to exit specially if the vehicle is having a blow by condition. Do you think they are not affected by the oil??? Just wondering.

Sobrang lakas nya po magvibrate pag una tapos pag uminit na motor ko nawawala naman tapos mejo mabaho amoy ng usok po ng motor ko .. 4 months old napo motor ko

Hi, just want to give an answer to your comment, set mel can't give an specific kilometers per grade kung kailan dapat mag palit, dahil depende parin po sa oxidation ng langis na gumawa sa kanila..
Just to give you an idea, bigyan lang kita ng example..
Kixx 10w-40, nirerecomend nila dito is 1500-2000
Motul 10w-40, recomended is 2500-3000
Same viscosity pero mag kaiba ng oxidation,
In other brands iba parin po un..

Allen Harvey Paran huwag kang maniwala basta-basta sa mga labeling nila...always ask yourself with these two basic questions 1) itong brand ng oil ay may sarili bang refinery or kumukuha lang sila from oil companies at 2) how much is the cost....normally a synthetic blend would cost you twice as much compared to conventional...a full synthetic is definitely more depende sa classification...the higher the more expensive
