- In this episode we tour Mackinac Island in Michigan on our bikes. We give you the inside scoop as to what to do, how to get your bike to the island or to rent one along with showing you the amazing sights the island has to offer. When first getting the RV's to the Tiki Campground, we went into St Ignace to explore the town discovering beautiful scenery including a lighthouse, a town park and a quaint little town. We then took the ferry over to Mackinac Island. We explain how to get your bicycles over to the island and what you can expect to experience there. Experiencing the amazing downtown alone with exploring further around the coast of the island, we highlight the gorgeous natural scenery, local shops and restaurants providing everything from amazing fudge and ice cream to delicious meals. Also, taking this opportunity to continue the Great Lakes swimming challenge, we take a swim in Lake Huron with its crystal clear water. While the beauty of Lake Huron is breathtaking, it is extremely cold. Follow along on our RV summer adventure as we explore Michigan!

That’s funny. Will make a great video! “Who has the best fudge?” 😂 There are a lot of fudge shops. You may have to hookup a sidecar to your bike for when he comes crashing down from the sugar high. 🤣🤣🤣
We're headed to Mackinac this summer and are very excited about the visit. we're staying in st. ignace at straits SP. Definitely worth taking your own bike. extensive selection of beer. I'm walking my bike up the hill. piggy back. lol
That’s great! You guys will have an awesome time! If you ride around the coastline it’s a nice flat ride. If you go through the middle of the island you get some pretty big hills. Both are beautiful routes though.
