Love these homeowners. About time some sort of legal/civil action was taken. Can't believe that a dodgy contractor can do a tiny amount of work, not fulfill his contract, rip-off homeowners, and get away with it legally. Maybe it's not fraud, but surely it's theft by deception. Sure hope things have changed since this episode was filmed.
The reason they probably didn't post the 2nd part, was because they have certain days they release certain series? so one day is Holmes makes it right, and the next is Holmes on Holmes.
Just a thought here, but maybe post part 2 of an episode after post part one instead of posting another episode. Also when you post a part 2 first, and not part 1 and part 3, it kinda blows. I know you're just trying to retain viewership by doing this but you're also pissing others off. I used to enjoy those shows when they first aired and am grateful you're reposting them here but ffs, have some logic.
Stop crying like a little baby, be grateful you can find these episodes and enjoy them, also, get yourself some patience, you need that. beggars can't be choosers
This man and his crew does a beautiful job I don't know why people does mean things to people when they contractors mess up your house they give them money and they still not satisfied I'm glad that man went to jail and he needs to stay in there
Construction loan disbursements are based on receipts for work completed. All permits and inspections completed. If you are self funding, go talk to a banker about how to do it properly.
when suing. That is why, you Sue, The Contractor Personally and The Company. Not Just the Company. That way, if the Contractor decided to just go Bankrupt his Company. Well Oh well. You are still Suing Him PERSONALLY.
So what happened original contractor walked off the job demanding more money, but didn't file a lien against the family so the family went after him. I'd really like to be able to hear the contractor's side of these stories.
I agree with some of what this man has posted I would like to see the whole thing including what happened to the contractor I hate it that you pour them out and don't show them all at the same time so I can see them all
I can't believe the amount of people crying because the part 2 was not available immediately, please, have some patience. The channel admin have a schedule and they follow a common pattern. In one week they upload Holmes on homes, then, Homes make it right, etc... beggars can't be choosers I guess.
Not true. Shawn left to become a general contractor himself, probably when he felt like he’d learned all he could from Mike. Eventually, Damon did the same thing, years later.
The guy is not called Sean but Shawn Morren and he left after the 5th season because he wanted to open his own company in Toronto... Damon did the same after 100 episodes..... BTW Craig Lowe, the painter died 2014 while scuba diving.
Shawn and his wife wanted to settle down iirc his comment about it on the show at the time, and he felt he'd spent years helping people all over the USA and Canada. Poor guy just wanted to be with his wife and kids, instead of everyone else's. Him and Damon are both friends of Mike's to this day afaik, this isn't reality TV from the USA where people have to come to a fistfight before moving on with their own lives. Sometimes people's roads just go in different directions, that's all.
I gave this a thumbs-up, but this looks like some 1%'rs getting their dream home, while the rest of us prols get to muddle by. Maybe Mike should identify and help people who can't afford to spend extra money on "cost overruns" and fraud. Having the lucky family basking in their new sauna smacks of luxurious decadence, when the rest of us are just happy to maybe have a rain-head shower in our bathroom.
@@kolsky No envy here. I'm very happy with the house we built with our own hands. We have everything we need or want, but I lament that there are people out there who are in desperate circumstances. As a retiree with plenty of time and building experience, I help people whenever I am asked. Be well..........
Good episode but we need the second part of 104 to see what happens... don't leave us hanging!
always do.
Beggars can't be choosers
FFS.... its 10+ delayed, you even get it for free
It's up now!!

It's great seeing the original crew again. Frank the electrican had a liver transplant. Holmes Makes It Right show fixed up Franks house.

LOVE MIKE HOLMES BEST TV SHOW EVER BEEN WATCHING IT EVER SINCE IT STARTED LOVE IT THANKS FOR SHARING 👍
45:30 Maybe I'm old fashioned, but that tiny act of respect towards her husband made me smile.
That's a real wife right there

2 videos make more money. Given I get this for free, I don't mind.
R.I.P. Craig Lowe 1972 - 2014
Such a talented man, every episode I've seen he always was open to share his process. RIP.
Such a preventable death. This made me so angry/sad. Don't swim alone!😢

Piss poor planning produces piss poor results
FFS.... its 10+ delayed, you even get it for free
I could watch pros like those, who Mike hires, for days. Sometimes I wish for a more in depth episode on some houses.
This man and his crew does a beautiful job I don't know why people does mean things to people when they contractors mess up your house they give them money and they still not satisfied I'm glad that man went to jail and he needs to stay in there
very nice
Any Contractor that starts work without a permit, knowing full well that a permit is required, should be charged with fraud, end of, loophole closed!
Two thumbs up keep up great acomplishments bold n bluunt bolderguard 11-4-2024
The fact the idiots who did the work had no permits should immediently make it criminal
Construction loan disbursements are based on receipts for work completed. All permits and inspections completed. If you are self funding, go talk to a banker about how to do it properly.
Go with the old fashion rails
episode 105 please
Next year
I have been watching.you. I have been trying to become a home inspector. I don't have the money for the class. I need your advice
Yeah...What he said!!!!

the sicking part is police brush off things to be a "civil matter" never seeing the criminal part
if the crown refuses to prosecute replace them then prosecute them for not prosecuting not doing their job
Think that Plumber should've put a Weld Clothe behind the pipes. Looked pretty black on the drywall🤔
I hope he work on the police house and the prosecutor

The plumber was wrong. He guessed 40 psi. Turned out it was 80 psi.
Nooo, that's not part 2 😢
It's coming out in 2025
what about the money owed to suppliers windows etc why do they go after the home owner
I agree with some of what this man has posted I would like to see the whole thing including what happened to the contractor I hate it that you pour them out and don't show them all at the same time so I can see them all

Why don't they put the original contractor's on camera so he can explain himself?
You can see that Holmes likes the painter (Loews) and the helper (Damon) and a few others. The guy Sean not so much, too snarky, that's why he's gone.

I don’t like the color scheme. But the house is beautiful.
Stop calling it fraud.... It is criminal damage...
it's 2024 and they update and do it all over again.
Those pink walls with that slate in the bathroom looked ugly - maybe it looked better in person 🤷
That was in fashion in the early 00s.

it was done a long time ago, but .. Yeah, what I thought.
Envy is ugly. Just be happy for them. It's like winning a lottery.

I love bailing out millionaires who made bad decisions because they are cheap! I feel bad they got cheated but you get what you pay for!
