That real light colored baby is so sweet and adorable. She is very tiny too. I love her with all my heart. She was very polite while eating. They both were. Let's just say she is a very wonderful little girl. I think its a girl, but it doesnt matter. GIRL OR BOY ARE STILL A JOY.

ok here is an idea for the door problem taken from when I had horses. You build a little cage outside the first one with ropes. Close the little cage off- let the mother and baby into that one- and they immediately open the one to the outside. it would save you hrs on end and help with the anxiety of the babies and mothers and prevent the other monkeys from spoiling it.

Great episode again this week. I loved seeing the two little ones learning to get up on the perch and groom each other after dinner. Also seeing how well the little one who was covered in ticks is doing - she's really fluffy! Floki of course is just a star 🌟! Then poor Terry... She must have been in pain from the spinal injury. I bet she felt better after the injection and the pain killers. Of course all of them are special but each week one or two really grab your heart! Much love and thanks to you all for such dedicated care.

Vervet Foundation was set up for orphans and primates who have had injuries and need a place of refuge to have the opportunity to live out their precious lives as monkeys deserve. If, they were able to bear their own offspring the Foundations property would not be able to care for each one of them and the new orphans coming in who need special care/needs. Another note is that these primates came in with emotional injuries & physical injuries and may need care down the road and so the Foundation is always monitoring them to see how they are doing. Plus, they already lost the most precious part of their lives, their moms to bring them up in the troop they were born in. So, Vervet Foundation's Mission is to give back what they lost, they best they can. I believe only the males are sterile.
