Hello Rob, I would like to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed this blog. And, you know, I think this is THE best one that you have done and I mean that sincerely. All this weekend (22/23 July) I have been totally immersed in this blog, the majesty of the Broads, the quietness, the reflective moments were really good. Thank you again, lots of good wishes and, as you say, more ... as it happens.
Unbelievably sorry that you have deserted us poor wanderers in the wilds of the most magical part of the world. You have been a most inspirational, educational and amusing mentor and I thank you for that. You have shown how wonderful the Norfolk broads are and have inspired innumerable beginners to try an amazing and unforgettable experience. Please please tell us of your ventures with Broads Horizon.
I've not gone for good - in fact have plans for this (2019) year but won't be quite like the past, others have taken the batten with the talk, film, music and cruise videos these days. Time for something different I think.
Thanks for another excellent series of vlogs, especially given the sad loss of your father but i am sure he got great pleasure from the thought that he would sail on, on the broads in you and your memories.
HI Robin, having watched this blog a few times (yes, sad I know) my fiancée and I have changed our honeymoon boat and have booked this boat for end of April 2018 and have decided on a few new places to go, despite my 47 year love affair with the Broads, can't wait to go now!!!
Sadly no as at the time of filming I had no idea he was on the boat to the left of me at Ranworth (in the Pub) and having ended the Blog for the day I was then 'off duty'. I also like to keep things as they are so to speak, in so far as I do my thing and other You Tubers can do their thing so we all benefit with a rich variety of boating content.
