I think Omni-Man is easier to differntiate from Homelander than invincible would be. Omni-Man is a very exerpienced fighter, who actually knows how to fight. While Homelander doesn't have any actual skill, he just coasts on his powers. Invincible is still a novice fighter, so his melee attacks would wind up very similar to Homelanders
The first smash clone i remember having a burst mechanic was actually Brawlout. You pressed 2 buttons and your character stops themselves mid-flight and on top of that you get a damage boost

Thunder, Wulf, and Glacious to fill in more archetypes in case you’re not sold on Jago but don’t want to buy the full game (even though it goes in sale for dirt cheap quite often)
My personal theory is that Reina is in fact Kazuya's secret daughter and not Heihachi's. They have technically not confirmed who's child she is yet. Harada and Murray said something along the lines of "you have to play the story mode to find out" It would also explain all the purple too, a colour traditionally associated with Kazuya, among other characters.

How do I get back into SF6? It’s my first SF and I got some characters to diamond but I haven’t played for almost two months because of MK1. I forgot so much and I get matched with diamond or master ranked players even in casuals.
At this point I want to be surprised if the story mode of Tekken 8 happens to say that Reina Mishima is going to be revealed as either a clone or half-sister to Kazuya. Plus it definitely seems to me that Jin knows her when she calls him senpai so it is a possibility that he discovered her in the Mishima compound when he was still the owner during the events of Tekken 5.

As always, I can't disagree more in the area of ganeplay preference. Granblue Versus was one of my favorite recent games. If it had good netcode, I'd still be playing it. I don't find it boring at all and the elegant simplicity was what made it so fun for me. Rising's new mechanics actually make it LESS fun to me than the original. Just like how I enjoyed Tekken 7 less than 6, 8 looks anti-fun to me, SoulCal 6 was the most unfun time I've had in my favorite FG series, etc. I simply HATE the modern fighting game trend of adding more and more mechanics and forcing more aggressive play and/or penalizing defensive play on the system level to cater to an ever-shrinking average attention span that is now comparable to (or possibly shorter than) that of a goldfish. This type of gameplay design taking over over 90% of fighting games since 2013 is why I've almost completely stopped playing the genre. Especially since none of the fighters I've genuinely enjoyed are playable on modern hardware with rollback and enough players for in-game matchmaking to work properly. Literally, my last hope is that SamSho rollback retrofit is good and brings in enough players for longevity and enough player variety to stay fun. If that doesn't happen, I'll just have to wait until the games I already know I enjoy come to Fightcade and hope there's a decent amount of players for those. Because I'm not wasting any more of my time or money on modern fighting games that are actively alienating me.

The main issue is that Xbox has traditionally a) had stock controllers that aren't conducive to fighting games for casuals, b) had worse performing versions of these games, and c) generally undersold compared to PS. Also, apparently a recent update has made brooks converters just... not work on the Series platform. That just makes it an even harder sell if people who play stick or leverless have to buy new $200+ controllers for one console alone.

Kof 12 was incomplete on release. Some characters legitimately were missing links and super cancels. Kof 13 is just actually finished 12.
The only reason KoF12 even released is because SNK needed to release SOMETHING, and they STILL almost went bankrupt again.

Guys, I'm constantly being clowned and mocked by the FGC for bringing up KI. _"KI is dead"_ _"No one plays KI"_ _"The FGC is PlayStation only"_ like.. Is that really the consensus? You're gonna tell that to Max up there? Justin? I think the FGC is getting caught up in an immature console war and hopping on the "Microsoft Hate Train." But it's really telling of the state of the FGC imo... a community founded on preferring old arcade hardware....
The main issue is that Xbox has traditionally a) had stock controllers that aren't conducive to fighting games for casuals, b) had worse performing versions of these games, and c) generally undersold compared to PS. Also, apparently a recent update has made brooks converters just... not work on the Series platform. That just makes it an even harder sell if people who play stick or leverless have to buy new $200+ controllers for one console alone.

I never said anything about Xbox. PC Master Race. You not hear Max and Justin mention input delay on PS5 for several fighting games? They don’t even have exclusive fighting games for PS5. So ditch that, convert to basically PC 🤷🏻♂️ Justin even said “Yeah, it’s the PC Master Race.”
And Xbox has a PC launcher app. Which then bring it back around. PC is superior. But ppl still want to console war.

I’m advocating for PC. Watch the video. Justin even brings up PC being superior. And Xbox has a PC launcher app. And it has Killer Instinct. Which is being updated.
@@VideoAcid I'm also on PC, I don't own a modern console. It's plainly obvious that PC is superior; it's the most customizable and has the highest ceiling for processing power. It's also the most expensive to own. You're the one on an immature console war, tossing 3 vitriolic comments back at my one providing reasons as to why the FGC broadly doesn't bother with Xbox anymore. And when you scream "console war, console war!" Why wouldn't I assume that's the connection you're going for? Console still has a much larger slice of the gaming pie, as they're more affordable to most people by far, and the easiest to use for tournament setups. I'm sure you're just salty that your Steam friends list is as empty as mine, because your friends won't invest $1200+ on a single machine that they have to upgrade themselves, when they could spend 500 and have a machine that will run their games for the next 5-10 years.
