probably not gonna get an answer since this vid is older, but aren't the big droids stealth detect now or were they always that way? I keep getting detected.
Where are they dying? The first two bosses pose no danger to my companion at all. The third one only has one dangerous ability for companions: Sweeping Fire. And all you have to do is stand on the opposite side of the boss from your companion and it will never hit them. You can also guard your companion so their damage comes to you, but that shouldn't ever be necessary. If you make sure you're doing both above things and comp is still dying, it has to be because you dont have them in heal, you have too low influence, or possibly, because you are standing in stuff and the companion is too busy healing you constantly that it cant heal itself.
Yes. Laceration refreshes cool down of acid blade so as long as you have backstabbed the target, just keep lacerating until vs comes off cool down and bingo. If you have no laceration and backstab is on cd you can always pop vs with poison dart
Never thought to use a melee comp 🤔 used ranged one and it kept dying on final boss due to ground aoe. I’ll have to go back with my scoundrel and a different companion. Oh and 👏🏾👏🏾
I dont understand, what ground aoe? He does a pushback every once in a while that has killed me more times than all other abilities put together... by catching me off guard and knocking me off platform... but that's in melee range, which always hits my melee companions and doesn't hurt them. The only dangerous ability for your companions is Sweeping Fire, and having a melee or ranged companion makes no difference: just stand on the opposite side of the boss from your companion and it will never hit them.
@@user-un8jx8yo7z reread what I posted... slowly this time. I am not wrong. I soloed that FP so many times. The boss will target YOU with it... so if you stand on the OTHER side of the boss... the boss will cast the ability AWAY from your companions. It's not that hard to understand.
@@Myskully14 lol my dude it’s not that deep. That’s great that it didn’t happen to you but that was my experience. The Grenades did kill my comp but an update: the melee comp helped soo 🥴 ✌🏾
Run it with 306 gear and tacticians set bonus gear. Amps depend on spec. I suggest concealment and run as much tech wizard as you can. Although you can easily run master mode hammer station with basic 306 gear. Oh and the acid blade tactical is best for single target dps, the one that laceration refreshes it’s cool down I forget the name.
It's definately easier with two people as long as they both know what they're doing. If they do not know what they are doing it can almost make things harder.
ExRD hey, thanks for the reply. What i actually meant: when you opened your companions window you could see your other characters' companions and it looked like you had the option to summon any of them.
@@vojtechbrezik2998 you mean other classes' companions like sith warrior's Vette, or bh's Gault etc? You get some of them through Kotfe\kotet story and allliance alerts missions.
schooljackson it does actually. Since master mode a lot harder to rush through due to the high armour and health of master mode bosses. Imagine if vet mode didn’t have stealth detection? You’d finish hammer station in 4-5 minutes instead of around 10 in fast groups.

you're doing veteran version? Droids in vet mode have stealth detection (always had I believe).

It's star fortress companion, Veeroa Denz (you get her upon completion Nar Shadda star fortress)

this doesnt work for me at all. I get spotted out of stealth by the elite droids from miles away
you're doing it on veteran mode. They have stealth detection on veteran, so it's either kill them or run and then use "battle stealth".
