That Urus is an eyesore. Wasn't a huge fan of the styling before, but Rob has successfully ordered the weakest spec Urus possible 😅

The fact that a consumer pays more for a base Urus than a fully specced RSQ8 is wild. Unless it’s loaded, an Urus is truly underwhelming visually.
The Q8 is even more underwhelming in non - RS trim. People pay more for the badges, they might know its a Q8 underneath or not, either way people will pay more because it has a Lamborghini badge

@@jguerra0117 but... it's not unfortunately. At the end of the day, 1 has a lamborghini badge. one will have you at the front of the valet parking. car enthusiasts will say they are similar but to 99.99% of the general population, the lambo is a completely different, far cooler vehicle.

GT3 isn't an SUV though, is it? It is a badass car though, I will agree with that. And, with the Urus you're basically paying $125k for the badge. The Audi RSQ8 is pretty much the EXACT same thing, for like $125k or so, half the price, so the other $125k for the Urus is basically the badge. So I agree with your statement, but I disagree at the same time. I agree because you can buy the RSQ8 for half the price and it's basically the same exact thing, but I disagree because to some people, the badge is worth $125k. In Robs situation, it's simply a rental. The badge is worth another $1000~ a week to someone. The majority of miles that get put on this Urus will be people on a 1-2 week vacation to Miami with the family, and want something exotic to get around the city for their time in Miami.
@@whatta7793 you’re right. I don’t know what these cars go for but I would definitely rent an x5m instead of this urus for double the price. I’ve never been a fan of the urus but it seems like Rob knows his business (unless we are talking about suitcases)

It’s more expensive than a fully-loaded Audi RSQ8, which is basically the same SUV.
The "face lift" makes it look closer to a Porsche than a lambo. Older models looked better imo

man, thats one of the most basic looking Urus's Ive ever seen. The tint and black wheels is gonna help it so much! Im just use to seeing the yellow or green with carbon kits and aftermarket wheels. Ive been over exposed to "FLASH"
White exterior probably would’ve looked like a higher spec.
It's a VW with a body kit. VAG really knows how to extract the most cash possible.

RSQ8 looks 100x better than this spec Urus. In the uk you can have a fully optioned / spec’d out Audi RSQ8 for half the cost of the urus… 😂

sensonum is the extra speakers for the sound system. definitely not worth 4k but better than the standard system especially if you have listeners in the rear.

@@TheCobruhAlienat0r Rubber floor mats would be for the personnel owner, not a rental company. Do you want to spend a lot of money renting an exotic car that then has rubber floor mats? Average people won't expect that, they will think you cheaped out. I'm pretty sure he does order aftermarket floor mats for some or all of his cars, to keep the original ones good. You need to think about what renters want first, then what will give the best resale value when its time for that.
@@snoopdogie187 There's a difference between cheap Walmart universal floormats and vehicle specific all weather mats that come directly from the vehicle manufacture.
Maybe I'm just hating but the Urus is like a 80k-100k vehicle at best. You could probably find an Audi or Benz SUV within that price range and it would have all the features and gimmicks of the Urus. I'm aware you're paying a hefty premium just because it's a Lamborghini but 200k+ for an SUV is WILD!!!

to be fair any VAG car with a low spec is ugly, the ugly wheels really kill the looks of it, but 100 percent 20k for good looking ones isn't worth it, and with the tint as well it'll look good

Your thoughts on how much will make out of rentals up to 40k miles before you list lambo up for sale?
I looks great, and indeed blue and orange go well together. So 40,000 miles is your target rental mileage. At 1000 miles per weekend rental ? So about 40 -- 50 weeks ... at, I don't know, $2000 per rental ? So about $80,000 in rental income. And then I get it will lose a big chunk of that in depreciation ( plus the carry cost, insurance, security tracking cost etc. etc. ) ... You're right when you say it's not a business for everyone, especially if you run it legitimately as you do. If you were anywhere remotely near to there, you'd be crazy to rent from anyone but Rob. You can trust an honest and fair approach.

Strange colour choice for a rental. White, black, red, orange, purple, heck even green suit a Lambo. Blue doesn't work, IMO. The 21's with fat tyres look kinda cool though! :D

An absolute downgrade for what this SUV cost. $200k+ with raw plastic on the exterior made it look cheap. The wrx is an another story. Looking at the price and rally purpose of the wrx, the plastic parts are way more acceptable on it.
The Sensonum thing is an upgraded sound system....apparently.

Sensonum is the 19-speaker stereo. It’s literally the exact same as the 19-speaker 755 watt Bang & Olufsen system used in Audi products.
Man, those wheels and the matte trim looks so cheap for that kind of price tag lol Gloss black looks much better and luxurious imo.

The smaller rims (w/chunkier tires) make these look so much more purposeful and muscular. I cant stand the look of these with low profile tires.

How do you feel about the Urus being on the MLB Evo platform? I ask because it's a FWD platform with AWD. I find it weird to think of a Lambo being FWD based. That's why it has FWD proportions and a large front overhang.

the MLB platform is rear-biased AWD. The MQB platform is the FWD based one.

**** I kinda wish that Lambo did an "Dakar/off-road" version of the Urus. 18-19in wheels, sits 2in higher, all terrain tires, rally light option for the front, simplified interior etc.

The Urus styling isn't aging well, it didn't help matters that they took the prototype around the auto-show circuit and licensed it for toys some 5 years before starting production.
