Very well-thought and put out guide! I’ve been a long-time exp main, but sometimes I’m more confused whether i should help my core contest the turtle or clear lane first before doing coming to help xD but ig the bigger the objective the higher the importance of it. Keep these up and i think u have a shot! :3
I would say it depends on the health of turtle and enemies around it. Helping the team is usually the answer, but if the enemy isn’t even contesting there is no point missing out on that wave/pushing enemy tower;) Thank you for the kind words, definitely helps on the motivation!
@@CoachRiku well my duo is a jungler and sometimes he can get needy if he doesn’t get immediate help, while i tried to convince him that i need to clear the lane first xd like i just recalled, and coming back to my lane, my jungler is taking the turtle alone, and requests backup, but my opposing laner have cleared the lane and prob is hiding in the bushes nearby along with enemy jungler, before this I wouldn’t want to waste any minion early game but then risk losing the turtle which gives everyone the benefit than for just 2 minions for myself xD
Ye in that situation i would definitely help the jungler, but he should wait for the team to be ready and kill a creep first while u clear lane (unless enemy jungler used retri then its a sure turtle)
For late game exp heroes (Argus and Aldous for example) my tips is if you can't participate gank too much, your rotation mostly between your lane and cut some mid lane minions, and also help your jungler at turtle, late game pretty much the same as in this video~
damn. So Detailed and precise. After tons and tons of videos this is the only one that actually teach something new. Thanks and subscribed. Love from Bangladesh.
I am xp laner main. I would say this video hits so many good points a Xp laner should do. Sad thing about Xp lane, majority of the times you will be getting Silver medals even with good kda so don't be disheartened, victory silver is better than Mvp Loss and selfish play
You should also know how most heroes that are used in exp lane works. Even if your pick was a weaker early game hero than the enemy exp pick, there is always a way to win. One way is just to avoid fighting your counterpart and go for split pushing opportunities (and ofc help in teamfights, target the ones that look like confirm kills). If you think you pro enough, try counter building against the enemy exp laner strengths. For example, if I picked alucard exp and enemy picked freya, it looks like gg for me. But, i can just avoid fighting her and farm till i got dominance ice, blade armour and DHS. Don't forget you need to use vengeance as your spell. Try fighting her now, and you will see how much the table has turned.
I usually just defend and try to not all in my skills and save them for when the enemy think that he would definitely win against me and then I'll use every skills I got. Or I would even leave my minion and hide in bush waiting for the enemy to push and then I'll surprise attack my enemy inside my turret.
The best moment as an exp laner is when your jungler and you synchronize really well in invading the enemy's jungle. It's even better if your mm is not clingy so your roamer could invade too. And the best game is when everyone except tank is pushing.
What taught me how to play exp was Terizla. Early you are a monster and lategame you are a roamer. Pretty accurate. Also late you should protect backline while giving vision around the area so no surprise attacks. Terizla ult with airborne cc upon cast is something that makes enemy assassins have him in their dreams that day.
@@edwardjamesnapalan9595 lately i even stopped playing boots. This man doesnt need them. Hes just too angry to die. Especially with Brave Smite. Instead i either play blade armor/antique quirass (whichever is missing) or athena/radiant (whichever is missing) or immortal or if im with Estes i'd buy Oracle. With that extra def item you can have enough hp to be tanky and afford a blade armor. Basically you have 3 non hp and 3 hp items so its pretty tanky. I personally hate going under 3 hp items but sometimes replacing Quirass with Blade armor can work as well.
@@generalknez3942 Yea I agree, Terizla is strong enough to even go without boots. Usually, I replace it with Radiant Armor, but should I use Athena instead? However, mid battle I occasionally run out of energy, so I just take the mana recovery boots.
As a ruby exp/tank role player I know how to control the flow of the game it is crucial to know if your team gonna engage or not also while in exp you should try to defend/hold the tower. Also don't forget to look at the mini map this will give you higher chance if the enemy tryna gank you in your lane ❤
