Faramis has always been the best counter to Gloo even before the revamp. There's just no one using him because of how niche his ult can be. Aside from Faramis there are actually a lot of counters for Gloo but most of them are non-meta heroes like Vexana, Hanabi, and Vale.
I'd say Vexana is also the second best, since she can also initiate team fights, but like Beto said she can be countered easily. Vale and Hanabi are more situational picks since Vale will require you to use Airborne 2nd skill and Damage ult unless you have someone that can comp heroes. Hanabi is just, Hanabi, even after her revamp, a late game hero, she needs items in order to counter Gloo. Faramis is by far the best because it countered Gloo so hard that if the enemy team isn't careful, it can be easy savage.
Another great counter is Alice, He cant do anything to her and heals her full HP in Teamfights in one second. Even If gloo is on her she can teleport around Like she wants with her First skill
They're doing their job properly then. Helping your mm get fed quickly is more important than helping xp laner. I would be mad if they helped the xp laner instead.

I've been using Benedetta as EXP laner these days. It's fun zipping through the battlefield split pushing and annoying enemy team whenever possible. Mobility is in her blood and being hard to catch is just icing on the cake.
I've been hunting Benedetta's recently. That second skill is tough to get the hang of, but once you know how they move, a good petri is all you need to silence their annoying *ss.
As a Khaled main, Benes are so annoying lol since the first skill revolves around hitting your target to continue using it, Benes always end up escaping and I can't even charge up my passive cause of it lol.
To see Akai, Diggie and Faramis in one team is just a headache. Not to mention that the other guys were the trauma inducing mage and the most lethal one shot mm. This was an overkill

Faramis EXP is a hidden gem that only few recognize it. Fast rotation, hard to catch, can check bushes with skill 2, tanky while in skill 1, can bully enemy bt pulling them to the turret. Betosky literally has unlocked one of the cheat mode in this game, congrats!

I love his second skill, it's like ghost hunting. I sometimes play exp lane. Winning the enemy 1 vs 1 fight in early game surely makes the game a lot more easier to win.
The only thing that bugs me about Faramis is the stun your team gets when the ultimate hp is used up after his last nerf I don't think it's necessary since it often puts the team in more trouble than they were before, they should make it so you can't attack or use skills but can still move
It it very very necessary Removing it would be a nerf, do you know why? Because people can just burst the faramis HP and kill you anyways, a low HP hero would get the faramis ult HP bar removed from them and die instantly It also makes you invulnerable, you don't take damage
All the tips to be a good exp laner is all there, and I have to say Faramis is a decent exp laner, he can deal dmg, has some cc, tanky and has a lot of skills to support the team. But he is good if a lot of minions are nearby or if the enemies have gloo. While yes Faramis is Gloos best counter, I can also recommend Uranus, Alice, Yu Zhong, Thamuz and Esmeralda because they have good aoe and strong regen to counter gloo. And anti-heal is necessary
@@actualgarbage8549 is using ruby full dmg build against sustain hero such as yu zhong/thamuz/lapulapu/ a good idea? , or should i just use tanky build against them…
@@Elaina-0416 I do recommend going semi-tank to last longer. Ruby might have high sustain, but against burst/high dps heroes in 1v1, she's helpless unless you snowballed early.

Your mention about self destructing ults brought me to Claude v Berlick with venegance combo, which almost instantly kills you when you use it in teamfight.
I have used the one shot on vexana recently, and it was useful, I mean yeah, she lacks mobility, but she has really good AoE CC, after I build COD and Lightning truncheon, I get divine glaive, then the rest of the items if optional

If your team already chose an exp, and enemy chose gloo, depending on enemy comp, you can choose vale and use secod skill stop on hit, it annihilates gloo and anyone near him.

It's similar to what winter truncheon does. Even with the stun, Faramis is still in the meta and still often used in pro plays so i think he is fine.
