- The Top O' the Strip Tower, later referred to as the Miracle Strip Tower was built by the same group of partners that brought us Miracle Strip Amusement Park. The tower was constructed in 1966 and was demolished nearly 30 years later.

Wonderful memories of a time we will never see again.
Thanks for the kind comment, Kelley.
Thank Goodness, I got to spend times when the tower and Miracle strip park were so prominent.
Loved Panama City beach!!
That is awesome!
Yes, the happy days
miss seeing the Miracle Strip Tower on the Beach.
I miss it too
Why did they take it down...makes no sense....@@oldpanamacitybeach
I wish it was still thare instead of the big condos
Me too..!
A replica needs to be rebuilt.
My how times have changed
Did it have a glass elevator? I went up it in 1988. I can't remember.
Tore the amusement park out and years later just a big empty space. They should have never been allowed to remove the amusement park or the tower
The owners of Miracle Strip decided to shut down if I remember right. Nobody forced them out of business or anything I don't think.
@@theweakestlink2278 You are right. The maintenance cost was becoming too high to make a profit. Sad.
Condos are are the most profitable investment on a square foot basis. Beach side attractions can’t compete
@@oldpanamacitybeach yeah and the land sits bare if I remember correctly.was last down in July of this year I do not remember seeing anything being built on the land
Just for condos?
Torn down to build condos...Sterling Reef complex.
It's sad. Is duffs still around? And do you remember Hank Williams He had a club on the strip?
Only thing is still thare is goofy gulf and gulf world
And Fun-Land…it opened in 1951 and still open today.
@@oldpanamacitybeach cool when did flingo moteal open 🤔 how old is it
@@oldpanamacitybeach I live in Panama City and every time I pass Fun land it freakin me out looks like it would’ve been fun then but now it’s a little out of place
