What I Eat In a Day on Slimfast | Under 500 Calorie Dinner | Slimfast UK | Weightloss |

  • Hi Guys, Today's video is a follow up to my Slimfast video. Since going on an all inclusive holiday I've put on a few pounds and want to get back on track with my weightloss.
    In this video I will show what I eat on a typical day using the Slimfast principle and keeping under 1200 calories.
    Below is a breakdown:
    Breakfast: Quaker Oats Porridge Sachet with skimmed milk and blueberries
    Snack 1: Aldi reduced fat hummus pots & raw carrot
    Lunch: Banana Slimfast shake with skimmed milk
    Snack 2: Aldi Hummus BitesDinner: Thai Salmon and Prawn Curry with rice (recipe below)
    Snack 3: Danone Activia Strawberry Fat Free Yoghurt
    Total Calories: 1164 (Carbs: 113g (43%), Fat 37g (32%), Protein 63g (25%)

    Recipe for Dinner - Thai Salmon and Prawn Curry (Serves 2)
    Ingredients
    4 star anise
    1 lemongrass
    4 spring onions
    1 red chilli
    100g green beans
    Handful of broccoli1/4 cup of peas
    3tbsp thai curry pastetin coconut milk (low fat if you can)
    2 frozen salmon fillets
    8 raw king prawns
    2tbsp fish sauce
    1 lime
    Method
    1. Prepare all the veg by finely slicing the spring onions, chilli and lemon grass. Trimming the beans, cut the broccoli and leave until needed.
    2. Spray a large frying pan or wok with Frylight, add the star anise nd fry for a minute.
    3. Add all the prepared veg and fry for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    4. Stir in the curry paste, mixing in for 1 minute.
    5. Pour in the coconut milk and bring to the boil then simmer for 5 minutes.
    6. Add the salmon and prawns and simmer for 5 minutes, ensuring cooked through.
    7. Remove from the heat and add in the fish sauce and juice from a freshly squeezed lime and serve.
    Cook rice according to packet instructions if using..

    Loved your video thank you. Meal ideas are fabulous too. Please make more like this to keep us all motivated. Just at the end of second week trying Slimfast for first time and enjoying the shakes. I have a breakfast shake along with fruit snack of 100 calories. Main meal is lunchtime so get very inventive using plenty of vegetables and salad with lean meat or fish. Afternoon snack I change to either popcorn, ryvita and cheese spread or more fruit. Tea is a high protein bar chopped small along with evening snack of either vegetables dip or egg and finish my evening off eating to fast for 14 hours until breakfast. Have oxo cube in hot water as beefy drink occasionally. Never hungry on this plan. Fits into my lifestyle. Walk 60 minutes with friends each day plus gardening housework etc. Keep moving keep drinking the water. Best bit? Keep losing the weight. Great results. Thank you again for being so inspirational x

    Your meal suppose to be 600 cals not 500 or under. For men 800cal

    great video chelle , and hubby for cooking the thai curry , that looked very nice , it would be nice for you to cook more lol thankyou iam going to start a slim fast diet to trim some stomach fat , iam type 2 insulin dependeant , aswell ,iam 6ft-6 ive put weight back on , am about 17st-9 i got down to 16 but it creeped back , so hopefully slimfast may help , with the meal replacements

    I started replacing my lunch with a slimfast shake. I eat 200 calories for breakfast (usually cottage cheese and yogurt and today I had cream of wheat with low calorie sweatener), my lunch shake and the 600 calorie dinner. Also the 3 100 calorie snacks. I still haven't done my first week weigh in. I will be happy if I've lost a pound honestly.

    Hi, new to this Slim Fast shakes thing but I bought a tub of chocolate 'SlimFast high protein' and the SlimFast shaker that went with it. I cannot work out how to use the shaker. I know it should be simple enough but I'm not sure I'm using the sieve thingy properly. If someone has the time, could they tell me at which stage to use is. Is it to sieve the powder in, or filter the powder to you mouth 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤪

    Hey I do slim fast and I have a shake and fruit in morning and do a workout then I would have another snack then another work out shake and snack then I would have a 600 calorie meal... tell me what you think of what I do xxxxxxxx

    Im on day 7 haven't lost anything and im having 800-900 cal per day. My sf shakes r made with water, I have 1 100k snack, my meal is 300k.

      You're eating too low calories so your body is storing the fat.

    My dietitian told me to stay at 1500 to 1600 calories.

      If you're smaller woman and you want to be like 120 then 1200 calories will work. But I am a plus size woman and I weigh 260 so to get to 180 I need to eat about 1500 to 1600 calories a day. You will starve eating 1200 in a calories and end up giving up

    Under 1200 calories is going to be hard to maintain.

      It is quite difficult to maintain long term especially when i started back at the gym but it was great to help me loose weight x
