That stun shotgun is a favourite of mine. I've tried this tactic, of staying to the left to approach them and it just never worked for me. I've had to use the smoke-shield tactic. And then when I had one shot left for the last girl, but got one-shot, after 20 minutes of tactically inching closer and closer, I just said fuck it and used my invisible powers to snipe them. I then used the easier route to get the S rank, of avoiding them altogether by plowing through with an armoured vehicle, and triggering the zomboids at the mansion.
Maybe you didn't start from the same position. Try entering the cutscene near the cliff, from where I started. If you are just 1 second late, a few meters to the right, they will see you while you are running.
I hate this mission,in all fairness this is the hardest part of the extreme mission and the final part is a piece of cake due to the max stun arm and standing in the middle of the house,tho its just the start fighting the skulls i hate and if you need the camo parastie you need to either do this one or the normal version for em which suckd
