That is one of my best selling scents as well, bescented has sea salt Blossom, that is my second best seller. Midwest is where I get the majority of my fragrance oils
I have not used a recipe with witch hazel before. Not for any particular reason. I tried this reason and stuck with it since I liked it. I have since switched the way I make my room sprays though. I do have an updated video on my channel.
Hello, I enjoy your videos. Do you have any issues with the glass bottle pumps becoming loose? I purchased glass bottles with the fine spray pump from GBO about 2 years ago. I haven't launched my business yet, so I didn't realize it until I started making some testers. After I screw the spray tops on, I noticed it unscrewed slightly. When I saw they had a sale, I purchased from them thinking it was the same company I ordered samples from. I didn't realize the samples I ordered were from a different company until I checked my purchase history.
Can anyone on here please help me. I use the exact same ingredients but when I mix it has little chunks of stuff and then once it sets it all separates. I spent so much money on all this I don’t know what I’m doing wrong
Great video!! Is there any reason I couldn't use a plastic Boston round bottle? I do know that citrus is hard on plastic, but not sure if it would apply to room spray.
I haven't ever used plastic, but I know some do! You would of course need to make sure it's the right kind of plastic that will not get eaten away by the fragrance oil. Not sure of the technical terms! Haha
Sorry to disturb you. Do you know what ingredients I can get in the UK that will do what you do? I have searched so much and am lost with what to get? THANKING you in advance. Shelley xx
I don't have any for you, I'm sorry! WIth this formula, separation is bound to occur. I have since made an updated room spray video which you can find on my channel. I have changed the way I make them now.
Not every room spray formula uses witch hazel. This one doesn't. I actually have an updated room spray video on my channel because I have since changed the way I make them.
Out of curiosity, I've purchased the same ingredients to start making room spray and I'm wondering how 'cloudy' the mixture actually gets. We do use amber jars. I just have another candle maker friend who uses a different recipe which doesn't cloud but lol I've already got my ingredients.
It gets pretty milky. I personally don't mind, and haven't had any customers mind either. I know there are some recipes that are clear. It really just depends on preference. Midwest Fragrance Company is coming out with a room spray base soon, and I will probably start buying that instead of making my own if I like theirs.
@@calafiacandleco I’ve used Midwest fragrance companies room spray base. Personally, I don’t like it, it’s expensive and you have to mix really fast while you’re pouring the fragrance in. I get my base from Essential wholesale labs. There’s is really good, they do not have notes on the website on how to use it so I called and they said you have to add polysorbate 20 to the Fragrance oil before you mix it in the base. I just got 5 gallons of it and it was $118 and they are all natural which I really like and it has a preservative already added. It does get milky because you’re adding the Polysorbate 20 and it mixes really good. Hope this helps anyone looking for a good room spray base
Question. Can you offer a natural/safer alternative to the Polysorbate 20? (I did some research and it's known to have ethylene oxide, a carcinogen.) Thank you! ☺️
I’m not too sure what other options there are. I’d recommend doing some research. I actually have switched how I make my room sprays now. I have a more recent video on my channel.
Hey there! I actually have the recipe multiplied by 4 in the description box for someone who would want to make four 4oz bottles. Since 4 goes into 16 four times, you could use that recipe for one 16oz bottle. Hope that makes sense lol. Regular scale!
Yes, if they have been sitting for some time. I add in the directions to shake well before using. I’m actually switching over to Midwest fragrance company’s room spray base. It’s clear and no separation. Also odor eliminating! Will film a video on it soon.
Great question. I believe you can. Poly 80 is intended for heavier oils or butters. Poly 20 is recommended for essential and fragrance oils. I believe the 80 is darker in color and might give the room sprays a different look. But it will do the same purpose or combining the water with the oil.
92% distilled water
2% polysorbet 20
5% fragrances oil
1% preservative \ optofin plus / sorbic acid plus two pf

I have learned so much with your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and tips.
We use online labels as well. Have you had any trouble with smearing? Which ones are you using?
Love the video! Thanks 😊 we use the uline shrink wrap for the top they work great.
I just ordered that recently! Going to start doing that
@@calafiacandleco yes, girl! yes 🤩 keep up the good work! wishing you a successful 2024!
Have you used room sprays/ Linen sprays with witch hazel? What is your experience with that/ why do you prefer this recipe? Just curious!

Can you use any type of fragrance oil? Or, what kind of testing can one use, to see if the fragrance oil is compatible? Great video.
Thanks so much ! I love all of youre videos.

Does this spray stain the linen ?
I LOVE all of your videos ! 😍YOU inspired me sooooo much !!

Hello, what would be the formula in grams for a single 4 oz. Thanks

I don’t I’m sorry. I have a more recent room spray video on my channel. I’ve changed how I make them and now use a base.
thanks so much for sharing, how long life span will these have?
Thanks for watching! I would say maybe 2 years?
When is the expiry date of this linen spray? Thankyou🙏
Great question. I would say they will probably work best when used within a year.
Thank you so much 😍 🙏
Any advice on how to reduce separation?

Very helpful! How did you get those measurements and are you zeroing the scale out between each measurement?
Thanks for watching! I have the original video I got the recipe from linked in the description box. And yes, zeroing out between each measurement.

Hi. How does one purchase your products when residing in a different country as you?
Hello! I only ship to the United States and Canada at this time.
Is this a body safe spray base that I can use to make body spray?
Hmm I’m not too sure about that. I would research the ingredients and see. I’ve never looked into it for that purpose.
I know this is old video.
But if i want to make 16oz bottles what would be my measurements?
And is this a normal scale? Sorry for the questions

Good, informative video. ❤️
Is this organic? Safe to spray around children, dogs??
I wouldn’t say it’s organic, but it is safe to spray around children and pets. Of course, I wouldn’t spray it directly onto them.
Hey there! What size labels do you use for your sprays?
Hello! I use 2.125 x 2.125
@@calafiacandleco Thank you so much!
May I ask where you got the brown kraft candle boxes with the stripe on them? Thanks!
I found some! Thank you anyway. I love the earthy look!
They are from ULINE! Under gift boxes.
Could you share the link for the applicator tip that you used for the fragrance oil?
Hi! You can find it linked on my Amazon storefront. Under “candlemaking supplies”.

What product is the one in the big bottle with the green label?
Distilled water

Hello. Can i know how many ml of alcohol do you put in each bottle?
Hey there. I measure by weight, not volume. I put 4oz
