Good day. I am confused about the values of Vx and Vo. When I substitute it to the original equation it was not equal to zero. But when i try to solve it i got Vx=14 V and Vo= 7V. I think you just doubled the - on 5i. Thank you for this tutorials. I learn how to solve dependent source :)
How can 5 ohm resistor have negative to positive polarity .... polarity of resistor depends upon direction of current?? Polarity must be from positive to negative
Exactly but if you don't know the direction of current then you can assume and if your are getting a negative value it means you need to reverse the assumption. Moreover in this case the polarity of voltage drop is shown which can be negative or positive according to assumption.
Sir , how can vo be the same across 8ohm as well as 2ohm resistor? According to V=ir , the value of v should defer if the value of current or resistance is changed
But I think it is wrong , Reason for.. When the current interred the positive sine and leave negative sine, the voltage sine can be taken as negative. When the current interred negative sine and leave positive sine, the voltage sine can be taken as positive.
It's just convention. Actual direction of current always depends upon various factors. You may use any convention but you have to be consistent. As I have chosen opposite convention, it does not mean that it's wrong. You are going to get same answer.
For more clear idea about the current flow may be understood by connecting two voltage source in series with different magnitude in opposite directions. Which direction you think current will flow? Did your hypothesis stated above is valid?
you're my hero.. from the philippines with love!
Excellent bro .na problem clear ayyindhi .chala chala thanks

It's so helpful keep it up over there❤❤
Great explanation!
i am studying in eee,,from Bangladesh,,i understand it very strongly,,thanks and need more videos like as..thanks
Welcome.. Now more than 100 videos are available.. keep learning
Saved my day, thanks maan
Thanks and welcome
Nijangaane
All things are clear in dependent source type of question..
How to solvee this type of questions pls telll bhai
It asked in my uppcl exam held on 25/03/2021❤️
Hope you solved correctly✌✌
Tq for the information 😊
Super work sir
Thankyou

i have a qeution , how did io/4 become outgoing current as it is not going out from same nod its out going from the adjacent one
From which book this question you take..m bcoz it is asked in DMRC je exam recently
Alexander and Sadiku Fundamental of electrical circuits.
Can KVL and KCL be applicable to a bilateral network?
Yes! of course
@@RFDesignbasics thank you
What kind of analysis did you use?
Major help thanks
Thank You From 🇧🇩
Thank you 🔥

it is assuming the voltage after the two resistor is combined, they are parallel
Since those are in parallel , in parallel case voltage will be constant......if we use V=IR then value of I will varies to maintain V constant
Understood the examples...but the background noise at 4:35 scared me.
😁
Thank uh soo muchh
Welcome
Thank you so much 👏👏
You're welcome 😊
Thanks 😊😊😊
thank you so much sir
Thanks sir
Welcome
very useful
It helped a lot 👍

Sorry sir I'm wrong, I'm understand (it's my mistake)
thanks
