In this video you're going to learn what it means to create genuine hip extension. A lot of the time when people go to improve hip extension they are typically only doing static stretches. Although this can be momentarily helpful it does little in the way of changing how your body creates hip extension to begin with!
Throughout the course of this video you'll learn some of the potential reasons as to why you may be dealing with tight hips to begin with and how improving your hip extension through exercise can lead to longer lasting results.

I like the swinging kettlebell approach to introduce proprioceptive feedback to the kinetic chain. Its a good way to help clients "feel" a movement they havent done in years. Solid content.
Well put. Definitely one of my favourite tools to get people into the rhythm of movement.
@@mark-suski I can tell you are part of the "new wave" of therpeutic interventions, focusing on whole body movement patterns and neuro-proprioceptive training. I have been moving that way ever since I read Movement by Gray Cook. I know that AIM and PRI are effective systems. Do you have any others that you prefer? (I'm a PT if you couldn't already tell)
Thanks mark for another great explaination on how to do
Proper hip extension. It definitely increased my understanding .
You are...a genius.

Hi Mark,
I have anterior tilt causing low back pain. I feel as though I’m so tilted forward that it feels weird when my pelvis is level. This video describes my quads and knee extension perfectly but am afraid I’ll get pulled anterior if I do this. If I walk with my pelvis level I feel like my upper body is hunched forward and don’t get hip extension.
I feel as though when I get my hips over the knee I’m in lumbar extension.
Bro I have cerebral palsy I did all the reeearch I just need help with my ankle spasticity
