Anyway, this time I got to ride Justine's new horse, Billy Mozette. Now Mozette is, if you hadn't guessed by the name, a show jumper, and he'd only been out with the hounds a few times before... eek! Up until a few days before he hadn't even seen a XC fence, so I was in for a treat.

Your eventing also but the hunts & chases are awesome! The Nar Valley Hunt Club people (charley especially) seem to be beautiful people to spend time with in having fun with horses and hounds! At my yard the horse I normally ride is called corrie
This video was amazing 😮 do feel a bit upset for some of the dogs, looked like they were being abused.
Wow that was fun! If you want some unsolicited internet advice, you should make sure he's absolutely sound and proceed to buy him. I think you'd have yourself a lovely, bold event horse there. If not, feel free to send him over here!

What I great blog and a lovely way to send a few hours, Can I ask how do you remember the hounds names who is who as they all look the same LOL.
So I only know the names of probably 5 or 6 hounds...(which is pretty good going for me 😂) but the Masters know them all by different distinguishing features- mostly by their markings. It's all very clever!!
I guess two seconds of Bonnie will have to be enough :)

Is the hounds on a trail or is they just following you guys?
They're just out for exercise so they're following the Master (Charlie on the chestnut horse) On the 'hunt' days they will follow the scent of a human runner- all very clever!

@@shanjanusman9974 sadly they find ways to navigate around those laws and foxhunting is actually on the rise :(
Well luckily an outing with the bloodhounds is a lovely law abiding, animal friendly way to ride across beautiful countryside with amazing hounds 😍
