- This week, i'm inviting you to experience a sit behind Laragh's keen ears for Footluce Eventing's first Tack Up & Ride With Me #WinterEdition 👏 🍾 🐎
Now this vlog has been in the pipeline for a very long time, however has sadly always be plonked on the back burner for one reason or another (the weather, mainly.) So i'm very excited to finally show you a snippet of some of the gorgeous Norfolk countryside hacking routes that are right on my doorstep.

Thank you for your videos I do enjoy them. You were talking about trees, I noticed that in your yard you have some trees that are being killed by ivy, l hope you don't think I am rude mentioning it. Living in the country and being familiar with our surroundings we tend not to notice and it is so easy to remove. Thanks for your attention.

Really enjoyed it, can’t wait for the summer one :) I also use haylage from T H Scott (thanks to your recommendation) I’m not far from you and we have bird scarers to contend with as well, they always go off twice, we never seem to time it right and unfortunately our horses will bolt! Oh the joys x

Oh that was really good ! Y I u need a balaclava for days like this. Not the most attractive but very effective !! A friend made me one from an old equafleece, so it is a lovely blue colour and makes me look less like a commando 👍Xx

Thank You for sharing your ride with us. I love watching different video's from other countries to see how it differs to Australia. I love how you get to ride through through the town then onto the paddocks. Over here it's very rare to ride through towns and there is no riding on farmers paddocks as they are usually all fenced.

bahaha the pigeons.. we have 'bush doves' here.. they sit in the bushes and wait til you are nearly standing on top of them to come flapping out LOL - I always spook, regardless of if my horse does! ;p

Great Vlog! Love Felix's drone shots! Really shows off the area also. Thank you for explaining why you do some of the things you do re: Laurgh (spelled? sorry). Such as the steamed hay and haylege. I'm not sure I understand the UK version of haylege. I've never come across it anywhere here in the West usa, though I know that some form of it is fed to cattle; fermented hay (not a grain silage ). Is that the same as what yo.u use? Also I love the gloves you were wearing today! Info? . Again, really enjoyed you & Laugh's Winter Hack . Look forward to more vlogs. Be safe & have fun. PS. Thanks so much for your comment Jennifer! So haylage is of the same principle as silage in the sense that it's cut and then wrapped. However haylage has a lower moisture content (at around 15-40%) My haylage actually has a higher dry matter than most at around 80% which gives most of the benefits that hay has, without the dust element and slightly higher in kcals. What are the brand of gloves you are riding in?
Your hacking is amazing! We used to have unlimited hacking around us but now pretty much everywhere has been sold up. What hasn’t we now have to pay £150 per person to ride in it. Sadly looks like we’ll have to box up to hack after lockdowns over! Love looking between Laragh’s ears! X

Confess to serious jealousy. Unless I transport my horse to another location, I have no hacking. I do have access to an indoor and outdoor arena.
Ahhh I wish I had an arena though! So we're lucky in different ways 😊
