Hey im asking u maybe u can help..ive done everything to my mitsubishi endeavor to get it back to life and i have a rear cat that i want to delete and im NO welder..if u can let me know what to do to do a cat delete with a 2inch exhaust using exhaust butt clamps will that work and what size pipe do i need after i cut out cat?does the original exhaust need to fit inside the new piece i am installing??if u can help id appreciate it..if not thanks anyway...just trying to remove clogged cat without going to my ripoff mechanic

To me you done everything well and for you to manage to get your van on those ramps was a bit sketch but entertaining. Seems like it would be way easier to use a Reciprocating saw to cut the pipe. Great video tho man, gave me confidence to try this myself. I was really debating weather or not to risk buying a full muffler less catback due to my county being pretty strict on the vehicle inspections, the guy I usually take it to said hed have to fail me if he couldn't visually see a muffler. And no way in hell am I going to want to rip out the catback each year twice just to pass. But now I think I can just get a 3" catback with a muffler, and install a cutout to have the best of both worlds and not worry about failing inspection.
to get more HP u have to put it right after the turbo before the katalyzator... or even after the catalyzator u gain about 5-10hp with open but if you install it after the mufflers u actually lose torque i have dyno test on my scirocco 160hp

You didnt initially cheap out on the exhaust clamps, you just bought the wrong style. Those first ones were for slip over pipes. They are good clamps if used for the right application.
@@snkyninja9893 If your pipes are butting together like his in the video, the clamps that he installed are the ones you would need. If your pipes are fitting inside one another, you will need the clamps he has sitting on the radiator cover at the beginning of the video. Hope this helps.

Body you scare me always put your car in a lower gear this way you go up more slow but you won’t spin like that and don’t trust those think alway used stand for your safety.
I have a x5 4.8i and a tahoe 4.8 I took the one from the x5 that one that you used for emergency where is that hole where you turn to go or down. Just make one or your sockets fit and I you a small impacts you will have the car up in no time or down. Hope you make one cuz if you don’t have one go to the junk yard and get one from a truck or van. I have two old metal wheel i place them under the car just in case something happen

You put a cut out on the exhaust but then put a block off plate🧐 I do believe that your exhaust note will be exactly the same unless you replace that plate with a electric bypass valve.. seems that it’s loud or stock sound the way you have it and have to get under the van when you want to change it😔 get the valve and update your video please would like to see that.
