      The NFL made the patriots the team they are, nothing else. Everyone in the NFL knows it, the players know, 30% of the people know it. But none of the players could speak out about it, just watch some of the players interviews with ESPN (Terrell Sugs especially). They were MADE, not earned. Brady's still a great quarterback, just very overinflated results

    I've lived them all, from ages 24 to 46. The pain of the losses are close to the thrill of the victories. None hurt worse than the first one shown here. The 1994 AFC Championship game. It was the first conference title game the Steelers had been part of in 10 years and only the second in 15 years. They were highly favored and had the best running attack in the league and the best defense. They led 13-3 most of the game but fell behind 17-13. The offense wasn't giving the D much help all game with points. The O drove down with a chance to win the game, but on 4th and goal from the 3 the pass fell incomplete.

    • @80steen44
      @80steen44 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fredblassie3212 well the lesser 95 Steelers trailed Dallas the following year in the SB by only 3 and Dallas was better than SF. The 95 Steelers D held Emmit to 49 yds, Irving to 77 yds and Aikman to 209 yds. The 2 miscommunication interceptions returned to the 6 and 19 yd lines set up Dallas' only points of the second half. Plus, that game basically didn't have HOF DB Rod Woodson and all pro safety Carnell Lake played corner and contained Irvin. But by being at corner they were missing their best safety in Lake and best corner in Woodson. The 94 team had them both at their natural positions. Woodson held Rice in 93 vs Young to 78 yds and had 2 interceptions and in 1990 shut down Taylor and had an interception vs Montana. The 94 loss to the Chargers never happens if Deion Figures stays with his responsibility to watch for anyone coming out for a pass on play action on 4th and 1 in the 3rd quarter. However, he decided to bite on the fake handoff and leave the TE wide open down the sideline, which made it 13-10 instead of 13-3. Also, once the Steelers trailed 17-13 and drove down to the 9 yd line, they ran a delay handoff to Barry Foster and no one was in front of him to the end zone but the Tackle didn't commit to his block well enough and the Charger LB or DE was able to barely make a game saving tackle. The Steelers of 94 matched up well with SF because they had speed on defense and a clock control running game.

Bill kept his team competitive with the likes of Korky Stewart, Tommy (the insurance man) Maddox and the choke artist known as Neil O’Dummy! Not to mention the 96’ season with Tomczak and Miller, with a splash of Kent (the statue) Graham! And Remember! If not for the patriots CHEATING, Bill would have taken a rookie to the SB and then again in his sophomore year! Tomlin took a team mostly built by Bill to SB43. Come on man! How many other teams were IN that many championship games during that period? It's like when Buffalo was in four straight Superbowls. Everybody said they were losers because they lost all four, bit no other team has ever been in four straight. You may not be the champ coming in second or third out of 32 teams, but you are far from being a loser. And hey! Still have those 6 Lombardis. Nothing to sneeze at. And, they have never been accused (or fined for, or lost draft picks for, or been suspended for) underinflated footballs or spying on opponents.
