@@5StarMatchup 100% correct! I still remember that rookie season like yesterday. The family and I even made it to his first playoff game, against the jets. Was not that great during that game but still won it! His last win as a rookie during the greatest rookie winning streak in NFL history!!! 14-0
When he’s on there is no one better! He’s made some amazing plays but man that Jags drop by Connor had me so bad took me right back to the game screaming trade this guy he is out here blowing key games!
As a Ravens fan, I gotta give it to Ben. He's absolutely hall of fame worthy, and while it was painful as a fan to watch Roethlisberger lead all those game winning drives against my Ravens, it's the fear I had everytime that is what gives me so much respect for him. Ben will be missed for sure. Very accomplished QB, 2X SB champion, always clutch, and was a big part of one of the best rivalries in football. Gonna miss those days for sure. Enjoy your retirement Big Ben

Big Ben in the Super Bowl.If only we can see that one more time.Keeping my finger crossed for the playoffs. Need one crazy run though. Maybe maybe maybe I pray. Here We Go!!!!!!!!!!
Seeing Big Ben and AB celebrating with each other in the #3 highlight hurts to see so much... I really feel bad for AB with all that he's done to himself not only to ruin his career but his reputation as a whole. I hope he gets the help he needs to battle whatever demons hes fighting because AB truly was something special. I never got rid of my jersey with his number because of moments like these while he was with the Steelers.
Couldn't agree more it's truly sad. I've said for a long time that his story won't have a happy ending and I hate it. Dude was a true inspiration even if he was a weirdo.
Only one missing that gives me goosebumps was another comeback vs the Ratbirds, the one he made the impossible escape from Suggs which later Redman scores the TD. impossible comback
Didn't think of this. Says something about Ben that not only is that the case but there's ALSO Romo's predecessor in the vid. Benjamin playing a looong time
I needed this. After theee years of him not playing great football i honestly forgot how great he was. Completely forgot that he gave Santonio a dime before the game winner
Thank you Ben, for the most exciting Superbowl I ever witnessed, I'm talking about Arizona. My five brothers and I went nuts on the throw and catch to Holmes...perfect again thank you
This is the magic that gave me confidence every time we were down. Ben having that clutch gene to bring it home. I miss old Ben and his ability to navigate around the pocket and run if needed. I hope he can give us a solid season. I really don’t like our playcalling lol. Ben is getting the ball out fast now that it seems he doesn’t go through all his reads.
Thx for putting this compilation together! Awesome trip down memory lane... That Holmes catch in the back of the endzone is the best TD catch in SB history. (James Harrison's INT return is the best play in SB history) imho
Ben could have had many more Super Bowl XLV, Vs NE 2017 if we would have went for the 4th and 1 Vs Cleveland who knows what could have happened there. One of the most underrated players of all time. Too bad everybody only looks at statistics, being clutch is way more valuable, LEGEND
That and the bad call in endzone against the Patriots. Not maintaining possession . That's when I was sold on games being controlled by the refs. Rigged. We wone that game and I'm still upset cause that was our year to win it again.
Possibly Ben's last game next week. I of course hope they pull it off like they did the last time they were the last seed but it's not likely. I have been fortunate enough to be a fan since 93 when they started doing good and of course through Ben's career. It really hit me on their last home game that this was it. I shed some tears when he was high-fiving the fans after the game. I hate that when they had the triple B's that they couldn't win a SB and that Green Bay loss felt like a give away. It feels like it will never be the same but I will continue to be black and gold as long as I live.
Man that Last drive wasn't a Ben drive that was Santonio Holmes and Ben, that was impeccable! I love the content bro keep it up. Could you do a Troy Polamula or Ryan Shazier tribute next?
Ben was clutch in the most tense moments. His first 14 seasons were amazing to watch. His last 4 seasons you could see Father Time caught up with him because he took so much damage more than any other quarterback because of his backyard style. What made him, is what broke him. Miss those days , most exciting quarterback in my lifetime
Meeeen this give me such a good memories, remember the young #7 running in the pocket avoiding tackles its all what I need and aaall the last drive its Ben and S. Holmes sooo sick men
Eh idk it's calmed down because he's playing better but I'm not going to backtrack. He was playing terrible weeks 2-4. Especially Cincinnati. Paired with the end of last year I do think criticism was justified. But if he can maintain cleaner play then yes you're right he's above it.
Been a Steelers fan forever. I was born during the Terry Bradshaw era and watched them through the 80's and 90's when they weren't great. Watching what Ben has done after taking over for Maddox ( like 100 years ago) I just don't even have words. But that's what we do. The Steelers are a family. And they support their own. We will continue to be a great organization because we realize that we are a family. Ben, thank you for everything. Also, could you maybe beat Kansas City? Lol
was hoping somebody would point this one out, I purposefully left it in. So bad ass and very much emblematic of early Mike T. I miss that killer instinct/swag sometimes.

That throw to Wallace to end the game against Green Bay is one fo the greatest throws I've ever seen. To put that ball on a rope over that long of a distance is insane.
Am I the only one who feels like it’s kinda cheap that he got credit for the comeback on the Townsend INT. Also it still hurts to know that 2017 vs NE would be 2 or 3 on that list if Alberto Riverond didn’t screw us
All Steelers fans already knew what number one was a moment I truly will never ever forget in my life I've seen my team win two superbowls and compete in three in my lifetime but this is why Ben is the Goat in my mind

Ben is such a great qb and a true steeler at heart man loved seeing that play with the bus
sooooOOOOOooooooo long ago. I'm getting old mannnn
@@5StarMatchup lol ikr
This is an amazing video. Amazing job putting it together. Imagine having a storied career like that and then having 90% of major sports "analysts" colluding together to defame you, humiliate you on national television in front of friends and family week in, week out. The dude is like the Rocky Balboa of Steeler Nation. He is a legend whether you like it or not.
Thank you for this video. Many people have said to bench him this year but I'm happy that the steelers organization is being loyal to him this season. I'm thankful for all that he has done for the steelers and thankful that the browns passed on him and we were able to draft Ben. I've been watching former steelers game when Ben had big games with AB lately just being thankful as a steeler fan that Ben has been the QB for so long. Many steeler fans should be thankful and remember all the good times and great plays by Ben
Said it before, he'll always be my favorite athlete of all time. No one's ever taking that spot.
Great collection of great finishes! When he does retire, How on earth are they ever gonna find another Big Ben!!? Won of the toughest and greatest QB's! Nice starting with Sundays game. Thanks Star! 🏈
Appreciate ya and yes I know, not looking forward to the after times, but also I am so proud of being able to have watched every snap of this legend's career. Such an underrated superstar.
@@5StarMatchup 100% correct! I still remember that rookie season like yesterday. The family and I even made it to his first playoff game, against the jets. Was not that great during that game but still won it! His last win as a rookie during the greatest rookie winning streak in NFL history!!! 14-0
Today Ben made his retirement offical. He is truly one of a kind and will be missed. Thank You Ben. Once a Steeler always a Steeler.
When he’s on there is no one better! He’s made some amazing plays but man that Jags drop by Connor had me so bad took me right back to the game screaming trade this guy he is out here blowing key games!
Lmao I remember that too but ended even better. The smile on Ben's face after how much trouble he had with that defense. So worth it
Almost forgot about Heath Miller. Dude was a beast.
I don’t know how you forget about heath he is the Steelers best tight end in history. The heath chant proves it
As a Ravens fan, I gotta give it to Ben.
He is one of if not the best at the 2 minute drill
Ben, Rodgers, and Brady are amazing at 2 minute drills.
Always been the king
I mean there is a guy named Tom Brady but Ben second In my opinion such a underrated quarterback
Legit if 2 minute Ben played 60 minutes of football, we'd never lose a game.
@@ozfan6 I been screaming this since 2005 lol
Just shows how much we're going to miss Big Ben he's a warrior and a winner never leave this guy any time 😂
Man I miss these days where we got past 20 points on a regular basis!! I believed in Big Ben and I believe in Kenny Pickett! Big Ben did throw interceptions but the offense also scored. We can't have our defense scoring more than the offense! Almost mid season....Let's go Steelers!!
Those games with the ravens back then were so hype.
I 'member them in real life haha!
Big Ben in the Super Bowl.If only we can see that one more time.Keeping my finger crossed for the playoffs. Need one crazy run though. Maybe maybe maybe I pray. Here We Go!!!!!!!!!!
Big Ben is the GOAT. Great vid btw
🐐🐐🐐
Breaks your heart watching these old clips of Ben and AB.
This team looks so polished on offense now, I love to see it. Now we need so, me splash plays and tighter coverage on defense
Matthew Canada putting in work
🇨🇦
Simply AWESOME and gonna miss Big Ben
Man I miss that team.
Thanks for the nostalgia.
appreciate you and no prob.
Only one missing that gives me goosebumps was another comeback vs the Ratbirds, the one he made the impossible escape from Suggs which later Redman scores the TD. impossible comback
truth but that was a really short drive after the turnover plus I didn't want to make it too heavy on the ravens. I tried to spread eras and opponents
God how I miss seeing AB and Ben like that. Such an amazing unstoppable duo
Romo has the dubious distinction of being on this as both a player and an announcer. :D
Didn't think of this. Says something about Ben that not only is that the case but there's ALSO Romo's predecessor in the vid. Benjamin playing a looong time
I needed this. After theee years of him not playing great football i honestly forgot how great he was. Completely forgot that he gave Santonio a dime before the game winner
bro he's an all time great don't forget
I'm glad you added the '04 game against Dallas. Heck, I wasn't even alive for it and I know about it.
Hahaha I was 14 remember it distinctly. I knew for sure oh we got a guy
Thank you Ben, for the most exciting Superbowl I ever witnessed, I'm talking about Arizona. My five brothers and I went nuts on the throw and catch to Holmes...perfect again thank you
Ben and Larry Fitz in their prime were miraculous. They would’ve made a great duo.
God I really forgot how quick Ben really was when he was first in the league
That's why I never got why people thought Mahomes was a new breed. Ben was doing that with 20 lb shoulder pads when George Bush was the president lmao
From Italy I love the football thanks to Big Ben and Steelers
I'm a Ravens fan and I'm rooting for big Ben to get one more ring
love to see it
Respect
Could you do a Troy Polamula or Ryan Shazier tribute next?
one of these days.
Sometimes you forget how good juju is 💪
Not me 👀
They gotta move him around everywhere like they used to. He's more than just a hunter renfrow, move the chains guy
Meeeen this give me such a good memories, remember the young #7 running in the pocket avoiding tackles its all what I need and aaall the last drive its Ben and S. Holmes sooo sick men
So sad AB and Ben didn’t last forever 🥲 that little sequence after the immaculate extension gave me the feels
True, and it all ended when AB threw a football at Ben.
I was there in that endzone on Christmas for the immaculate extension. It was beautiful
I was at that one on the fifty 🥲 a beautiful Christmas memory
@@5StarMatchup it was my first pro game too
He's getting so much undeserved hate this year.
Eh idk it's calmed down because he's playing better but I'm not going to backtrack. He was playing terrible weeks 2-4. Especially Cincinnati. Paired with the end of last year I do think criticism was justified. But if he can maintain cleaner play then yes you're right he's above it.
Big Ben has so many memorable games against the Ravens. Love the rivalry!
Lol
mike tomlin swinging his headset in the cowboys game is my favorite highlight
was hoping somebody would point this one out, I purposefully left it in. So bad ass and very much emblematic of early Mike T. I miss that killer instinct/swag sometimes.
WHAT AN AWESOME QB NEVER SAY NEVER WHEN BEN HAD THE BALL WHAT HE CAN DO IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING NOBODY CAN PUMP FAKE LIKE HIM GET AWAY FROM TACKLES LIKE HIM HE IS PURE AMAZING BEST THING EVER TO HAPPEN FOR THE STEELERS HOF FOR SURE THATS MY QB AND MY HERO THANKS BEN
Ben looking like derick henry in that vintage cowboy game
Bowling over dudes
Love him or hate him big Ben was a rare quarterback who always delivered.. especially when being pressured... I'm a hardcore Cincinnati fan, born that way but I give respect where it's due. Ben is a legend
HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!! 🖤💛🖤💛
Most clutch QB of all time. The other QB's that are ahead of Ben have played waaaay more games then Ben has. Ben is the king of clutch IMO.
This was awesome.
thank you sir appreciate that
I think its going to be awhile before we see the likes of him again, if ever! Like many here I felt like we always had a chance too pull out a W if we were down & there was time on the clock!! Sure going to miss him. Greg
Most underrated qb ever
without question and since day one
I remember that game here we go Steelers
We will miss Big Ben
Thank you for the wonderful memories.
Thank you for hanging out!
13:27 brown ripping harballs heart out
Had to do it to em
Been a Steelers fan since birth in 82, and been rockin Ben's rookie jersey all these years. That's THE CAPTAIN!
Hell ya! Same age as him I think! I'm born in 90 and very much the same. Guys been my hero since I was a freshman in high school. I'm currently 31 mid career and engaged. Crazy how long Bens been around!
The drive were Jesse James CAUGHT the ball against the Patriots was a great drive too!
Sure was 🥲
yup
It's Fantastic watching these clips of a future Hall Of Famer. They make you realize how special Ben was as the Steeler QB. Hopefully Kenny Pickett can be as successful.
Crosses fingers and hopes the Green Bay games on there with the Mike Wallace TD catch at double zeros
👀
18:17 My mom was still here to see this. I was friends with Jeff Reed for a long time after my uncle introduced me to him. Have a picture of my mom with him and Lamar Woodley. I was deejaying at a local place here in Pittsburgh. The city went nuts. I'm so happy she got to see 2 Super Bowls before she passed away. 01/17/2011 At peace with God...
That green bay game my gosh
One of my all time favorites
When the ball is in Ben's hands never say never he is the greatest QB How many QB's do youknow that can play with a broken nose? He is the comeback kid. Always shows such dignityHE'S MY QUARTERBACK LOVE BEN AND LOVE MY STEEKERS
If you don't instantly know what #1 is, then you're not a REAL Steelers Fan 💯
That throw to Wallace to end the game against Green Bay is one fo the greatest throws I've ever seen. To put that ball on a rope over that long of a distance is insane.
Most clutch qb of all time
yo I'm not gonna argue
Thanks for the memories. Gonna miss Big Ben.
Am I the only one who feels like it’s kinda cheap that he got credit for the comeback on the Townsend INT. Also it still hurts to know that 2017 vs NE would be 2 or 3 on that list if Alberto Riverond didn’t screw us
It's a little cheap but he scored right before to tie it. Counts imo!
It counts. The stat is "4th quarter comebacks to tie or take the lead"
All Steelers fans already knew what number one was a moment I truly will never ever forget in my life I've seen my team win two superbowls and compete in three in my lifetime but this is why Ben is the Goat in my mind
So much fun over the years watching this man
Steelers jus to raw
Watching this it’s crazy to see how much Linebackers have changed. Back then they was built buoy as hell thick as AF big ole guys. Now they have skimmed down can cover they are way faster but can still hit. Just crazy how much game has changed
All these people hating on Ben look at the throws he can make not many guys can do that
One of the greatest to ever do it
