He really was, his problem was he went to an expansion team and got wasted thanks to having virtually no other talent around him, would've happened to any of the other QBs in that 1999 draft too, if the Bengals don't go shopping for some Offensive lineman this off-season the same thing that happened to Couch could happen to Joe Burrow

It’s so ridiculous to call a QB a bust when they get drafted by a shit team and never realize their full potential. People always say it’s the most difficult position to play in all of sports and then they go to a losing team, get sacked 60 times in a year and then get blasted for sucking. Insanely unfair.

Facts! He had so much talent. The Browns got the pick right at the time and then once he got suspended, he was never the same player again. He has turned his life around and is doing very well now. His talent however was undeniable. Then again, the 2002 Browns had a lot of talent but then Butch Davis the GM did not help Butch Davis the coach, letting go of Earl Holmes, Dwayne Rudd, Corey Fuller and most importantly Jamir Miller the only All-Pro on the team ruptured his Achilles the prior preseason opener. How can I forget Butch Davis playing hot potato between Tim Couch who should've been the starter moving forward and Kelly Holcomb on top of bad drafting outside of the first round from 2002-2004. What could've been.

God bless this 6-10 season!! The last losing season the Steelers have had by the way!! This season is why they were able to draft one Ben Roethlisberger!!

Yo. Next week has some matchups that are going to be difficult to find past playoff games for. Off the top of my head I think Packers/Rams are the only matchup that met previously in the playoffs? Guessing you'll spotlight the 2001 beatdown by the Rams at least. I'm anxious to see what else you have in store.

Randy Lerner had destroyed the franchise.

Its to bad how Tim Couch's career played out. He had good games but had bad games, just really inconsistent.

I wonder how Plax’s pro football career would of went on and off the field if he just would of stayed with the team that drafted him in 2000 The Pittsburgh Steelers and kept #80 there in Pittsburgh. We will NEVER know 🤷🏼‍♂️….
Instead he won a SB with Eli and the Giants in 2008 and was The recipient of the game winning TD catch over NE. We all know what happened to him as well ( shooting him self in the Leg ). But very few know that Plaxico Burress tired his hand in coaching with the Arizona Cardinals in 2017 as a coaching intern.

The season that led to the Steelers drafting Ben in 2004, and now he is about to retire. How many QBs have the Browns had from 2004-2020... lol 😂 enjoy the W Browns, Steelers are still big brother, one win don’t change that....

After this win, the Browns would not beat the Steelers again until 2009 with Brady Quinn at QB.
