😊 so many snakes! We've just learnt to live with them - they're actually great at keeping away mice and rats and we've realised that our snakey friends are just as much a part of the ecosystem as we are!
@@MotherTheMountain totally agree I’ve had snakes around here for years We had a bit of a mice plague during winter and then come spring the mice and rats disappeared Just had another encounter with an eastern brown in the back yard this morning The chooks were right near him but he was pretty chilled and left them alone I chased him out of the back yard I think he lives under the rocks that are along the border of the chicken run My only concern is the dog as he is a bit reactive He grabbed a water dragon the other day and occasionally chases goannnas There was a big goanna in my backyard this morning and I think he was also looking for that brown So much happens here in this little backyard in Nerong!,

We lived in your region for 2 years and my partner started up a veggie patch (sweet potatoes etc), but the green coverage would hide the snakes. Carpet snakes mainly but a brown did live on the property. We are currently in France and may stay...and one reason is we can do the permaculture thing without worrying about snakes! So any tips would be good to know! :)
People should be scrambling to come together in communities and build a new break away society of people laying down their lives for their FRIENDS and not mammon! Combine resources and secure water sources and start growing food together 💪🤠🙏
