My guess for the clear parts on the eyes is so that if you want to get two of these kits you could technically turn one of them into a normal X using the Copy-X body.

If ya want to try your hand at it before he does a tutorial then first do a primer then your silver base and then an metallic somewhat transparent paint and this should give you the desired effect gonna have to play with it hope this helps ya
@Bob Dole so the order is primer>gloss black>metallic color>clear coat> gloss top coat?
@@godlyitem Ridiculously late to this message, but I was wanting to do it myself and based on the video it looks more like: primer -> darker metallic coat -> lighter metallic coat for shading -> multiple coats of gloss top coat -> transparent blue coat -> gloss top coat to seal
If I catch this kit at my hobby shot definitely will pick up 😆

Great work as always. For the Vallejo metal color did you use thinner? The ratio por the Tamiya clear blue Is 2-5 , 2 of paint and five of alcohol? May i use 95% isopropyl alcohol? Thanks.

What Vallejo metal color is the main frame? I saw you used pale burnt iron under blue clear, dark aluminum under red clear , copper and white aluminum for highlights but I like the darkness of the frame. They have so many too choose from and I liked that dark hue

Did you have any issues with the shoulder section? Its like the 2nd or 3rd step into making the torso. I had issues with the zero too and now i just got this one and still having the same issue
I commented before watching the rest lol. I had such a bad time with the zero one that i immediately just groaned at seeing this one. Its so hard to get in and my hands dont allow for it. Any suggestions?

Ok ok seems I've been requesting the wrong paint job from you this whole time forgive I'm new to the paint seen nevertheless I digress Otaku please please please do your next gundam kit with a candy coat for the whole thing I think it would pop and flash and look absolutely amazing done by your magic mind and hands your skill sir is hard to match
The body connecting to arms piece makes my fingers hurts a lot.
I dont suppose you do commissions do you? Id love to have a paint job like this when i get mine. But i have none of the materials for a job like this. And i have no skill whatsoever lmao
