What’ll you get from a rabbit??? Absolutely nothing. My cat killed a wild adolescent bunny, and I didn’t want to let it go to waste. Wild things rarely have a lot of meat on them if they’re small. I skinned and cleaned it, and found that there’s really no reason for a human adult to spend the time and effort to kill something so little. Hunt something your own size.

    • @TheLOTSProject

Actually the rabbit is already deceased. The rabbits on our farm are only alive because we raise them for food. We are sure to use all the parts of an animal if we take its life to provide food for ourselves. We use the feet, both front and back, the hide is tanned and we make several meals out of the body itself. If we were not raising these rabbits to eat they would never be alive in the first place. We give them a very good life while they are alive. I assume you are a vegan or at the very least a vegetarian?

They live to die.....your pet was born to sell as a pet. There is a difference the feet are a byproduct not the main reason for having rabbits. I save the back feet, ears, and fur of rabbits at butcher but this is all byproduct! I really want the meat but save as much as I have time for. You see most people would throw away the feet she saves them!

The rabbit would be alive if they didn’t want to use as a keychain or so much other. No, actually- a lot of people that have rabbits feet either hunted and killed them themselves or they were the owners of a beloved pet and want to keep something of them or they raised rabbits and didn't want to waste, ie taking the meat/pelt/and feet, or unfortunately you get one at a fair as a cheap dumb trophy- anyway my point being- not many of us are pricks at the fair buying them or abusing them or killing a rabbit just for the foot, tons of people are just doing this to honor the passed pet or the prized kill. So abuse- no, not in almost anyone's book but some wack jobs.
