Thanks so much for featuring my brush set Michele! 🥰 It was fun to see how you used each brush. The Dior Contour and Glow is definitely a very subtle shade and because it’s a baked formula I recommend a stiffer goat bristle brush!
The concealer. WOW. I purchased one in a lighter shade because they did not have my correct shade. That’s how bad I wanted to try it and just WOW. I applied it at noon and 12 hours later it was the exact same if not better. My under eyes looked so healthy and the coverage maintained. Tried with and without powder and they both looked fantastic. Can’t wait to get my skin tone shade! Thanks for the vid 😊
I've been struggling to find a concealer that's easy enough to work with to wear on an everyday basis but that provides good coverage and doesn't crease, and the Westman Atelier concealer has been a godsend for me -- an absolute instant holy grail for me, worth every penny
This is a fantastic look Michele. Great job with the eyeshadows and I appreciate a similar color story on each eye so I could contrast/compare the textures rather than the shades. You’re the best.
Dear Michele, I have an idea for your videos: It would be lovely to hear about your long time holly grail makeup, without the pressure of numbers of items. I know that you TH-camrs have your long time favourites and always want to present the new new, but sometimes, we would love to know what you love most, even if they don't exist anymore, cause we all have lots os makeups here that are also discontinued. That would be lovely.
I always look forward to your new product reviews. I love Dior and I bought the blush/highlighter duo but I am disappointed in it. It's hard to pick up much pigment. The concealer has me intrigued - I'm going to pick up one.. For eyeshadow, I prefer a stick eyeshadow like Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown over a liquid shadow - easier to use. ND makes beautiful eyeshadow formulas but I prefer cooler colors. The Laura Mercier lip colors are very pretty. I recently tried a new mascara YSL Lash Clash - if you haven't tried it - I really love it.
Just an fyi, the Dior Contour & Highlight looks to me as if it’s a Baked Geleé formula which, as you know, isn’t a “pressed” formula at all, but a poured. In order to pick up that particular formula, you need a stiffer brush. If you want to confirm if it’s the formula I suspect, simply look for where it’s produced. If it says it’s produced in Italy, there’s a good chance that exactly the formula it is; since this is the primary location for this formulas production. I’d like to try, demo and review the Westman Concealer and the two contour products from Dior, as well. It’s really interesting seeing the difference in people’s application styles; as I’m similar age to you but, in comparison, I use a lot more makeup than you do. Not because I need to, but because I love to create full looks. Just thought I’d drop in the info about the Dior product. Much love to you! Shelbie ❤😊xoxo
I have the Westman atilier concealer and am IN LOVE with it . I am 57 and it does a fantastic job of concealing without looking like you have makeup on AND I have been trying to get the correct color and the CUSTOMER SERVICE is fantastic ! I don’t need to powder the concealer either .. just fyi ..
Love the look. The contour looks very natural as a blush. I do love the duo blush from dior. You can mix the colors together for a great blush topper. 😊
I am in the market for a new concealer. I hope you will be able to try the new Victoria Beckham concealer and compare to the Westman Atelier, which looks beautiful.
From all the reviews I have seen. Not to answer for her , but the VB is like thinner like a skincare feel not full , the WA is thicker , more like an eye Primer. It’s more full. ❤hope this helps
I haven’t tried Westman concealer yet, but the VBB is fantastic if you like a skin finish. It has grip and doesn’t move even though it’s thin. It’s light coverage.
I bought the Dior blush in the light peach and the contour duo in 100. They are both very light but can be built up . The blush has glitter in the highlighter so I put it on first then the blush on top . I enjoy them both but I liked the Chanel peach duo better than the Dior peach blush. However I do think the Dior is better for travel because it is hard pressed. I’m going to have to try the WA concealer when I finish the ones I have ..😊
Just ordered the Lisa Eldridge Eye Silk in Phoebe! Can't wait to try this out!! After watching the Demo, I think I'm sold on the ND 'I need a Warm!' 😊 Also in the market for a new Concealer, and can't decide between the WA, the ND Hy-Glam, and the new VB with the Augustinus Bader Serum in it! ❤
I think the dark shadow from Lisa E looks a bit patchy and I know that is only because you have Concealer on your Eyes. And as well, Natasha Denona I Need A Warm is my best pallet now with the Glam.
How does this concealer compare to Natasha Denona Hyglam concealer? Can you swatch it against N2 and N3 from Natasha Denona concealer to the Westman Atelier L4. Thanks in advance. Love your reviews!
Also debating between the new WA concealer, the ND Hy-Glam, and the new VB with the Augustinus Bader Serum in it. I an 47, do have blue, especially in the inner corners of my eyes, and like the idea of the AB Serum. What are you leaning towards?
@@sarahogren3697 I have the Natasha Denona Hyglam concealer in N3. It's my holy grail but I am looking for a cleaner formula like Westman Atelier. I have blue and purple in the inner corners of my eyes.
I am so excited to see the WA and the LE CREAM shadows. Love new new and you. As we are watching YOU are enjoying the NYFW. I wish I had the SONIA G. I love Sophia. I hear the WA IS LIKE A EYE SHADOW PRIMER. THE CONSISTENCY compared to VB which is thinner. Less coverage than the WA. With the LE you don’t need a base first. They make them drier looking
Ooh glad you picked up the Dior contour in shade 1. I had picked up the foundation in 2N and shade 2 tan in the contour/bronze and am thinking of picking up the 1 shade but want to see how it works on you since we’re the same skin tone.❤. Excited!
I agree with you about westman Concealer! At the beginning I was quite dismissive with that product, because at the end of the day how many concealers should someone have. But I got curious and I when I tried on, I got hooked!! Great ,steady, high coverage, water based formula that gives amazing mixing versatility with other products!!! My skin colour is identical to yours, but I like extra brightness since oxidation always strikes…so L2 is my choice! Thank you for your review 🫶🏻🙏🫶🏻
Yesss another makeup video from Michele, thanks dear Michele!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩The concealer is super interesting indeed! I'm thinking between this one or the VBB one, maybe it must be this one, don't know yet. I did not purchase Dior makeup in a while, but the products you showed: gorgeous, the contour stick and that palette, love these! Also the foundation stick, but with sensitive skin a good skin prep is a good idea, because fragrance, that will go away, but still...the EU companies here just cannot stop that it seems 🙃 And absolutely interested in a liquid matte shadow from Lisa Eldridge, love easy foolproof stuff more and more, being 54 now here. Wishing you a wonderful day!!! 😘😘😘😘
Blush is the same way as the contour. I got the one in diorette and could barely get any pigment. I ended up returning. Some people may like how soft it is but honestly I could barely tell on my face
I love Mario’s powder but make sure you use a small amount bc it is powerful. The only thing I don’t like is how big the holes are on the powder. I wish I only opened half of the holes. It gets everywhere so I have to be super careful. I absolutely love the powder I am 43.
concealer looks great on you, I didn't buy it because it looked too heavy on other videos I watched (you used less product). I ended up buying the Victoria Beckham and it's pretty good too
Hi Michele! I noticed that I always have question marks when you talk about which brush to use with what product (baked powder with natural hair brush 11:39 ) If you're looking for content ideas, this would be it 😬 I've got Sonia G, Rephr and Rae Morris brushes but I have to admit that I just use whatever brush is clean, no matter the product I use it with 😅 you are so knowledgable and I would love to know what kind of brushes to use with cream, liquid etc products ❤
I have a conspiracy theory about the Dior blush duos. I believe they are old stock produced years ago. Why? They seem to get pretty bad reviews and people say they get hard pan easily. Also, they have their old dior logo on them. For a few years dior has been using all uppercase lettering on their new products. In fact they’re recalling loads of old stock with the old packaging and only seem to manufacture new products with the new lettering. Now can someone explain why they RANDOMLY after two years using only the new logo release a blush with the old one?? It’s old stock they’re trying to get rid of
So disappointed with the Dior blush it is so bad I tried every brush possible it hard panned immediately so I ended up using my fingers so so disappointed. The highlighter has very find glitter particles . I don't mind it . The highlighter performs . No hard pan and no problem with any brush . Waste of money
I liked the blush once I finally got it on my cheeks but it was just so hard pressed. I also expected more pigment and less shine. I’m not a fan of the highlighter. It’s far too glittery
So happy you liked the Dior stick foundation….I’m going to try 2C Rose. We will see….its just after the shade you tried. Love that dry skin works with this.
I recommend to all that you can, offer TINY SAMPLES FREE OR VERY INEXPENSIVE SO THAT CONSUMERS know for certain how shades look feel and wear on themselves. A sure guarantee(IMO!). Of CUSTOMER SATISFACTION,UPSURG IN PURCHASES AND FEWER TO. O RETURNS!

🥰
It's a real concealer. I absolutely love it! Go Gucci! I also use the concealer as an all over base as needed. Wow is it good!
I found that Gucci's concealer does not need powder at all. It stays and wears so well it actually looks better at the end of the day.
Love your ombré nails, Michele!!!
The concealer. WOW. I purchased one in a lighter shade because they did not have my correct shade. That’s how bad I wanted to try it and just WOW. Westman & Denona win by a longshot in my opinion
The Denona one is amazing indeed! Must try this one too.

I have been loving using one of Lisa’s liquid shadows as a base to her new Fawn powder eyeshadow palette. Long lasting. No creasing.
The Dior 100 looks amazing on you!
Hey Michelle, I just wanna send you some love and appreciation for your work. Take care, Lovely!
Thanks for sharing all the new items, I love seeing all the new things out and getting a sense of colors and texture. Have a great week!

For sun spots try Lase MD I loved the results
This was a great try on. I am interested in all these products, so it was so nice to have your input. Thank you for doing these. Have a great day.
The Dior blushes are not very pigmented but you can build them up.
@@carolgarrett5650 what brush did you use please
Hi Michele, how does rhe Westman Atelier concealer compare to the Hourglass Vanish concealer?
It is a thicker consistency, higher coverage, less glowy finish.

I just purchased the Dior blush/highlighter duo and had the same experience...they're pretty dense and hard to pick up with a fluffy blush brush.
