They are the reason I know K-pop. I started considering myself worthy of the title SONE back in 2008 after a lot of time trying to know who were the people who sang a song I’ve heard in a mall in Thailand.
Just a quick facts : I Got A Boy was written & produced by more than 10 writters (and completed within 30 minutes) and each lines (also the beats) was a different story-telling as the girls talks about their story (like a girl chit-chat). "Don't stop! Let's bring back to 1:40" was clever drops. It was reference to 140 beats per minutes as the time-stamp on the MV itself (the pre chorus). Also, the girl (Kwon Yuri/Yuri The Black Pearl) with the sunglasses? She wear it on a last minute (for that scene). It was because her eyes swollen/redness so she wear it to cover her eyes during that shots. It was groups like this that had to knock down doors and pave the way for groups now a days to be where they are today.
They are the reason I know K-pop. I started considering myself worthy of the title SONE back in 2008 after a lot of time trying to know who were the people who sang a song I’ve heard in a mall in Thailand.

I Got A Boy was written & produced by more than 10 writters (and completed within 30 minutes) and each lines (also the beats) was a different story-telling as the girls talks about their story (like a girl chit-chat).
"Don't stop! Let's bring back to 1:40" was clever drops. It was reference to 140 beats per minutes as the time-stamp on the MV itself (the pre chorus). Also, the girl (Kwon Yuri/Yuri The Black Pearl) with the sunglasses? She wear it on a last minute (for that scene). It was because her eyes swollen/redness so she wear it to cover her eyes during that shots.
Sadly,on 30/04/2014 Jessica Jung (Jessica/The Ice Princess (the one who says "Let's bring back to 1:40)) was departured from the group due to her personal solo career (she just launched her own novel called 'SHINE').
So,they debuted with 9 members on 2007 (Into The New World),they continued with 8 members since 2015 (Catch Me If You Can) and then 3 members in October 2017, Tiffany, Sooyoung and Seohyun decided not to renew their contracts with the company to focus on their acting or solo music careers. Tiffany (Tiffany Young/Hwang Mi Young) debuted as a Hollywood artist. Her first solo debut song 'Over My Skin' June 2018 and the recent one is 'Run For Your Life' in 2019 .

SNSD had 9 members. One left the group in 2014. Three left the company (not the group) in 2017. Five members are still with SM and just renewed contracts until 2023.
