I love her grandma so much, my grandma died lately and she was the same, just a chill little old lady living in a tiny village by herself with farm animals, I hope her grandma stays healthy and lively for many long years to come. I adore that life style so much

@@a.a.8145 Have you been to rural China? My grandparents live in a village very similar to Liziqi's, and their lives are very similar. Of course, its not quite as pretty, hers has a lot more flowers and mountains, but the land my grandparents live on is still very beautiful. The houses are far from each other with many rice paddies in between. The air is fresh and misty and a little smoky from the cooking fires. Each family has a large garden and fields and have chickens and goats. It is a beautiful place.

@@Ningyoutachi Yes, actually I have read about her. The article said she does not give interviews and is somewhat cagey regarding her life. Actually, it was a positive article about her rise on TH-cam, but did not try to pretend that it was realistic. And that there are a number of channels like this. In fact I watch a couple of others that aren't as slick and silly as this one is. More like real life.
Initially the Chinese government was not happy that she was using TH-cam, but when they found out how many people watched the videos they thought it would be a good way to try to get young people involved in farming. So the government decided to back her in some way that she will not explain.
This channel is not as simple as many make it out to be and is extremely unrealistic. Anyone who farms and gardens will agree with me.
It's meant to be a fantasy channel showing a very idyllic and romanticized version of the farm girl. I enjoy parts of it, but do not believe for one minute that she is not getting a lot of help, monetary and otherwise.
I've never skipped ads on any of her videos. 30 seconds ads won't kill me. This video alone took 9 months to make only for us enjoying it every night before we go to deep sleep.

Her videos are so so so relaxing... that I almost fall asleep. Her videos are so peaceful.. it makes me feel that as humans we have all missed connecting with nature and living with it, because of which our lifestyle, health issues, stress everything has built up. Vacations are always for us going to beaches, forests, mountains. But here is someone living the life and so connected and content. Yes, it is very physically hard work and looks like she is doing it all alone, all that ploughing, picking, lifting and the amazing recipies she makes;all natural and super healthy, fully organic...Thank You Lizhi qi, for showing us that you and your life exists.

kachal kachal True. Bought my ticket back to China back in April and still think that was one of my best decision ever made. In most provinces people stopped wearing mask from April/May until now (of course some still choose to wear masks since pandemic might change drastically and there are lots of people who are especially vulnerable and to be protected). Recently more people put on mask again since it’s a bit tougher to get the pandemic under control during winter, especially when people travel a lot due to Chinese New Year which will happen in early Feb.
It's such a great joy to see grandma join in the festivities. She looks so happy. Bless you all.

I genuinely believe that living a more wholesome life like this would help with mental illnesses like depression. We would be healthier, stay younger longer and generally live a happy more rewarding life. I cook, bake, and garden I can tell you I've never been happier.

You know this woman is such a great example for so many. Personally she motivates me so much to work hard myself. I don’t live in a setting like hers , I live with a city so the work and setting here is nothing compared to her but it makes me to try to learn new thinks and better myself at the way I see the world and work things around. I was born in the countryside and yet I don't have a land I can call my own... Seeing her have her place... I envy her... I love the place and I love what she is doing... I always dream of having same place... I am always dreaming of giving my family an everyday fresh food from my garden

I am American. I live in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Most of the time, I have no idea what she is growing or cooking, but I love watching any way. It’s so peaceful. Plus I enjoy gardening and am constantly impressed with the hard work she puts into growing food. We often take for granted the labor that goes into a simple dish. I also like the way she cares for her grandmother. Respect for our elders. Respect for this channel.

I’m not from China but we also grow all these vegetables and fruits in our country too but surprisingly we didn’t know we could cook varieties of dishes with these vegetables.She is so skilled hard working lady.
As a gardener who happens to be impatient, I find it so satisfying watching the growth sped up in these videos! In reality, you plant some seeds and they might germinate after a week or two if you're lucky. I'm starting some lavender inside right now, and I know that germination time can be up to a couple months before I see a single leaf! Watching these videos and seeing the growth that I know will come eventually helps me wait for my plants. Also, I love seeing all the ways she uses the different vegetables and fruits. I am constantly looking for new and exciting ways to serve those to my kids!
So true, sometimes we are forgetting (or ignorance) of how a simple peanuts took so much effort to grow and harvest. I truly humbled and thankful for all farmers that brought food to my table all my life.

It's not just hard work you need. You need permits for agriculture. Permission to grow produce if you don't have land of your own. Hunting licenses and fishing lisences, which dont come cheap. You need to have a stable home to do a small fraction of this work to be independent. And u need money. Otherwise you just get in trouble for property damage and/or thieving.

So I read an article about her, her parents divorced when she was very young, then she went to live with her grandparents in the rural area. When she grow up, she tried various job at the city.. once upon a time, she got a call that her grandma was sick so she left everything and cameback to hometown to take care of her nana. She was inspired by her brother who uploads singing videos on Meipai (Chinese social media) and thinking that she could do one of that too. Over the years through trials and errors she was able to build her channel.
After learning this about her, I was really impressed. All i can say is, she is truly a hard working person and never leaves her family. We all should be inspired !
