In the United States of Demoncrats, we have grocery stores that sell "cardboard" tasting fruits and vegetables that are loaded with chemicals. We have forgotten the way food should taste. We are killing ourselves and don't know it.

This is the life I want. No getting up early to the rush of traffic but getting up early to fresh air. I truly believed that my depression would go away if I could live like this.
Learning about foraging can give you an iota of this even if you're not ready to give up your traffic filled life. You start to see how much around you is stuff you could harvest (even if at first you are too timid to eat it), and you can do little activities like making rosehip tea. For me it helped (along with learning some geology) what I got out of walks through town or into the wilderness. Going for hikes, living in a walkable city, and walking with no headphones also all give me a tiny bit of this feel. I found I became much happier when I lived in a larger city when I walked to work (or took metro with a bit of walking on each end) if I just listened to the city sounds and thought about them along with the smells and feels and sights... store clerks opening up, delivery people, others walking to work, little birds, I walked past a horse racing track too, the decorative trees, the weather, even the mess outside the pubs. It was somehow stimulating to notice things more even if they were objectively unpleasant (like a bad smell). I listen to music to zone out in the evenings but if I am out and about I like to listen to and investigate my surroundings.
You like it because it looks new to you. If you did live a life in this video, you would get bored in no time and would like to get back to traffic-rush life

During my two weeks quarantine, I watched all her videos. Once I'm out, I started planting tomatoes, strawberries and some vegetables on my backyard. Now I can harvest them right from the backyard. She's an inspiration

Just learn from reliable sources and start with some easy ones. It also takes time for your palette to appreciate new flavours, so don't give up if the first tastes are weird. Give your brain time to get to know what you are trying. Sometimes it takes several times before fully adjusting to how the flavours lend themselves to dishes. No need to pay people, just find a local group you can be part of.

Learning about foraging can give you an iota of this even if you're not ready to give up your traffic filled life. You start to see how much around you is stuff you could harvest (even if at first you are too timid to eat it), and you can do little activities like making rosehip tea. For me it helped (along with learning some geology) what I got out of walks through town or into the wilderness. Going for hikes, living in a walkable city, and walking with no headphones also all give me a tiny bit of this feel. I found I became much happier when I lived in a larger city when I walked to work (or took metro with a bit of walking on each end) if I just listened to the city sounds and thought about them along with the smells and feels and sights... store clerks opening up, delivery people, others walking to work, little birds, I walked past a horse racing track too, the decorative trees, the weather, even the mess outside the pubs. It was somehow stimulating to notice things more even if they were objectively unpleasant (like a bad smell). I listen to music to zone out in the evenings but if I am out and about I like to listen to and investigate my surroundings.

Just learn from reliable sources and start with some easy ones. It also takes time for your palette to appreciate new flavours, so don't give up if the first tastes are weird. Give your brain time to get to know what you are trying. Sometimes it takes several times before fully adjusting to how the flavours lend themselves to dishes. No need to pay people, just find a local group you can be part of.

So it's her blessing to all the people in the coming new year. She wishes that we all a wonderful 2021, and hope everything goes well. In Chinese culture, sending wishes and blessings at the Spring festival (New Year celebration) is somehow deeply inscribed in people's concept.
