In my experience what you give of yourself to help others you recoup twofold. Over the years I have tiled many a floor and walls, plastered walls, laid patios, erected greenhouses, done electrical and lots of plumbing work for folks, moved radiators, built garden walls etc. Did a couple of engine rebuilds, replaced clutch plates,, half shafts, bearings brakes and brake pipes. Also ran a singles group for 20 years which lifted many out of a dark place with many weekend holidays, weekend visits, holidays abroad and weekends away, parties and more. It gave my life purpose after my wife's death and youngest daughter more independent. Now that I am less able it is me that is grateful for good neighbours.
Nice to see you back on YouTub...and happy for you! I finally got my own van and my first project is to add my fan. You inspired me to do it on my own. Maybe I should film it ? Senior stuck on van roof...call 911. lol
Great deal. Create a community of helping people get on feet with Van's.. I often find myself informing friends of how they could be living and I'll help them get there! Good on you Tim!
It was good to hear from you again. Nice of you to help those who can’t do it for themselves. That younger guy that you helped, you may have given him the courage to attempt something like that on his own the next time.
Hi Timothy. I just found you!😊I Love your intro music on the video you did regarding Sprinter and Transit vans..not to buy etc. Comments were turned off, so I couldn't say thank you so much for the video so I'll say it here!😊👍💖 it was very helpful. I am still in the beginning phases of trying to figure all this out. I heard catalytic converters are the best way for low emissions on the road. I love and care about our planet.. want to do the best I can💖
Hearing about your intentions to assist others in areas where they do not have the ability assist themselves brightened my day....be well my friend 👍 🚐
Awesome! I'm living in my van but without the electrics cuz I just don't have the confidence to do them. The battery being under the driver's seat (Transit T-150) freaks me out. I think I have all the bits & pieces (no solar for now) but... Yes, I've watched a crap tonne of videos but...it's my home & daily driver & I can't afford to f**k it up. A friend helped me put in my two ceiling fans (low profile, self-contained, solar fans so I don't have to pay for overheight on the ferries) & I put an electric plug through a side wall for shore power that's working well. Still, a functional 12v system would be great Especially cuz I have all the parts. I'll look for you when I'm back on the Mainland (ditched Facebook).
@@Torin_by_the_Ocean That would be freakin' awesome! With the travel ban in place & my being a student until the end of June, I don't think I'll get back to the Mainland until at least July. I'll definitely look you up when I know I'm going back over. We can meet up again in a Home Depot lot :~}

👍 good job Torin! .......It just happens to be that I have a lot of const. materials ,tools, equipment and even some workspace where tools and materials can be locked securely for van builds/ repairs and such. My current job situation makes it difficult to gett any bldg. done. Any thoughts ..kind sir??😇💪🚙
If you need any kind of rekindling in your hope for humanity, and reassurance everything is gonna be ok, watch a van life video or better yet get a van and find your tribe.
Yes. If more people aspire to climb Maslow’s pyramid, the world would become more nurturing, kind and thoughtful.
I love to see your videos on helping other people and hearing their stories.
Please do more of these
I'm going to try. 🙂

It takes about 3 hours but it's not that hard to actually do. Watch some yt tutorials? Best of luck.
Thanks for the tip(s)!!
THERE IS nothing better than having the ability to help others that need it. =)

I found your channel via Static Camper Van… your voice, like his, is asmr in a van! So soothing.

Welcome back. Are you still living in your van?
Yeah... I'm guessing I'll be moving in with my gf at some point.
Pretty nice of you. Do you have them sign a wavier in case they have an issue down the road or is that not an issue?
No... 🙂

It seems that Van dwelling is on the increase in Canada?

Sent you an email 🙂
Hi Timothy. Can I ask where you go to help folks? I am in Washington State.
Are you finished with your rig yet?
Uh... mostly. 😅
If you need any kind of rekindling in your hope for humanity, and reassurance everything is gonna be ok, watch a van life video or better yet get a van and find your tribe.
You seem to be happier when you're building out a van, I guess you're a hands-on kind of guy. :)
When are we going to meet the girlfriend?
Not sure about putting my girlfriend on yt. She and I would have to have a conversation about that. 🙂
@@Torin_by_the_Ocean Maybe do a tour of your finished van. I never got to see it! I am so happy you are helping people. Torin, you lost weight.
