@@pascalrossi489 It's the nature of the composition -- due to the type of trumpets back in the day being a "natural" trumpet and therefore, was more limited in the length of time they could perform. Handel knew these things. So, he composed the piece relying most heavily upon the organ. Being an accomplished trumpeter myself, I can assure you that Martin's performance is SOLID... and he even adds some embellishments in such a way as to prove his competence.

Amazing performance, I think if the tempo was a little more stable it would be perfect. It's just rushing a bit sometimes or getting hectic, that's probably because of the fast tempo and repetetive notes :)

Always start this work with the trumpet part first... not the organ. And don't play it so fast. This isn't a toccata. Majestic, maestoso. Otherwise, not bad. Remember, Handel only suggested thus and such. It's you who have to let it... live... once again in the here and now.
