i started with the charge blade and made it all the way out to caravan R6 before i decided to play with other weapons. i went back to your charge blade tutorial and found new combos i didn't know existed, played with the heavy bowgun and got myself the Arluq Hammer, these tutorials you've put together have been incredibly helpful in my games and i would just like to thank you for making them.
If you just tap "R" without holding it you do a lunging swing, you didn't mention it at all, its one of my most used attacks because it allows you to do 2 important things, change your swing direction (because it gives you about a second to pivot your character to face a different direction), and close the gap if your at a distance (similar to level 2 charge but its an instant swing), and it also combos from other attacks pretty fluidly.

Good tutorial, but you missed one important combo-chain. After a Golf Swing (XXX or AXX) you can hold R and go right into a charge. So after a golf swing you can hit them with that huge slam attack ASAP and wreck their face.

you failed to mention you can do a endless combo by taping charge and going into your x attacks. And the gulf swing at the end of the spin is more powerful then the super pound as well. plus it can help to trip the mob easier.
I think you forgot the level 1 charge move. That's like a weak flail left then right, but it can be useful for quickly getting into a combo too
also worth noting is that you can roll out of your combo at pretty much any point as far as i know and that you can chain up combos by quickly pressing R after your xxx combo to chain into a possibly infinite combo. also i personally think that the stage 1 charge is better to cover distance because the hit is easier to combo or roll out of, at least that how it felt for me.
What Armor is it? The Coloration remembers me of Fatalis, but his Armor looks more dynamic.
So my full charge turn allways in a Beybladeattack, because I was runnin while attacking. The normal Chargeattack only triggers if I stand still? Whats pretty helpfull, I was trying too figured what out.
I find hammers easier compared to lance. Hammer will always be my main...

How can you tell the power that is in each attack? Other than reading the animation and thinking that 'well in real life this one would hurt more than that one' I don't see any way of getting any number feedback on attacks?
Yes it seems I must have missed the page where it explains how on a 520 dmg hammer, the first X attack does 480 damage and the following X, 430 with a final 500 on the upswing at the end of the combo. Must be the same page that also shows that a fully charged stationary hammer swing does 500 damage but an aerial full charge does 525. Perhaps you could link the page to me? It would help.

i'm love hammer but MHO (CH) it very weak at first until unlock more passive skills it can be powerful but -*- it take lot of time and money to get and it even deal just half of damaged when compare to Great Sword with Charging .
Does anyone know what the leaping charge up attack is like compared to the other moves

my favorite weapon is the hammer :3 but are there any kinds that inflict sleep or poison?
I think one of the sort of early game ones have poison
+Splargly Splargleton The Nescryla hammer deals sleep damage and the Harmingbird (mostly plants I recall) deals poison.

why does the character hold the hammer so strangely or is just this hammer?

Super xLocoh because it’s mainly not used as it moves you too much so positioning is difficult

Why sometimes my Charge 3 does a 2 hit attack instead of the huge smash?
Its the same attack, it just has two hitboxes. One when you bring the hammer up and one when you bring it down
What weapon would you recommend to start with?

I'd recommend experimenting around. Personally, I started with the Greatsword because I liked the way it looked, it helped me figure out about rolling out of attacks, and it got me to G rank in MH3U before I moved on to other weapons. None of the weapons except for the Charge Blade, Bowguns/Bows, and maybe the switch ax are really too difficult to figure out and the lances are a bit awkward to use at first but, otherwise, pretty simple.
To start out, I'd recommend either the Great Sword, Long Sword, Sword and Shield, Dual Blades, Hammer, Hunting Horn if you can get good buffs, or maybe the Insect Glaive if you can get used to the weird Kinetisect stuff. Personally, I'd say Great Sword, Long Sword, Sword and Shield, Hammer, or Dual Blades would be the best ones to start with. But it all depends on how you want to play.
Just pick whichever one looks cool to you, try to use it as far as you can, and mess around with other stuff if you feel like the weapon isn't right for you. You start out with one of everything and money isn't hard to come by in the game, so... yeah, go nuts and have fun with it, lol! Every weapon can be really good if you use it right in this game. Although I really just can't get good with light bowguns or the sword and shield no matter how hard I try, personally.

Since I wrote my previous comment, I've been getting pretty into Sword and Shield as my main weapon. The damage is quite a bit better than you would expect if you do the right combo which, if I remember right, is something like "Light, light, heavy, heavy, heavy" and then you can do back and heavy attack for a good reset with a standing upward slash (second light hit in the main combo) or an advancing slash which leads into an upward slash and then back into the main combo.
The big things to remember, though, are that the shield attacks do really shit damage and are only really good for maybe stunning or getting hits when your sword is bouncing off of the monster because sharpness doesn't really matter much to blunt attacks. Also, once you start getting elemental effects like blast and poison, stuff can start to get pretty freaking nuts! I mean, if you don't like the weapon fair enough, but the Sword and Shield revolves mainly around it's ailment/ elemental damage and mobility so if you can get used to skipping its shield attacks and either get poison or blast off or exploit the monster's elemental weakness, then it's DPS is definitely pretty freaking up there!
