@@mizer9510 barring something crazy I doubt it will happen. Look at schools like duke and unc with coach k and Roy Williams leaving they are still relatively elite. I know it’s a different sport but it’s a culture thing
To put it in perspective, Appalachian state was the two time defending FCS champion and went on the win the championship again later in that season. At that point in time Michigan, losing to Duke would have been more of a bigger deal, because Duke was terrible in football. At the time they were barely winning one game a year.
Idaho isnt even bad anymore, they almost beat wsu last season and led indiana by 10 at the half, this season they where top 5 (In fcs) and led 17 against cal before slipping up (They were favored against nevada but only by like 3 points btw)
Use to be that an FBS player transfered to an FBS school, they had to sit out a year, but if they went to an FCS school they were immediately eligible So FCS schools got some good talent. An example is Joe Flacco. Now with the transfer portal, those level of players stay in FBS, and FCS teams lose out on the opportunity to get them.

My old man played at Arkansas in 92 when they got stomped at home by The Citadel. Arkansas didn't score a single TD that game. The head coach got fired and the starting QB got benched. Seeing The Citadel on this list gave me shivers.
As a Gator fan that loss to Georgia Southern was absolutely embarrassing although you see who we had at QB. Still a low point for the program even though they are trying their hardest to give us another one currently.
You should do a what FCS Programs that Should be FBS since Kennesaw State will be in the Conference USA this year and Delaware will be in the FBS in 2025
Many teams from Low level G5 conferences like the MAC and C-USA aren’t really much better than the better FCS programs. But when historically great programs like Washington or Florida State lose to FCS schools that’s pretty pathetic.
These type of games aren’t that big of a deal no more. The game has more or less closed between the top of fcs and the bottom of fbs. They aren’t really upsets no more
Bowling Green just went 7-4 beating Georgia Tech and sadly losing in the Quick Lane Bowl against Minnesota by one possession. In my opinion, their on the uprise so hopefully they wont be featured in another one of these videos lol
You just don't get the commentary he's putting in there because he knows FSU should have been in the CFI instead of Alabama, so he said an Alabama school and FSU were in the same state. He's playing 5D chess while everyone else is playing checkers. (Obviously I'm just kidding)
Jacksonville state isnt a florida school bro
Yea it’s alabama
He's not too bright
It’s literally in Alabama lol.
Even their fight song mentions how they’re proud to be from
ALABAMA
Seems like an easy mistake to make, tbh…
Appalachian state beating Michigan was the best
That whole season was full of upsets. 2007 college football season was bizarre
I went to N. Illinois from 2003-05 and when we beat Alabama in 03, we broke ESPN.
Good ole days when Alabama sucked. Hopefully we'll get there again when Saban retires.

@@jacksonklark6119 I disagree but would love to hear your thoughts
(Current NIU Student here) Remember when NIU beat Iowa, with Jordan Lynch at QB and got 3rd place in Heisman voting. Man those were the days.

As a husky fan i still remember that demoralizing montana loss but hey both teams are playing in a championship now. Funny how all that works out huh
Jacksonville State is in Jacksonville, Alabama dawg. You seriously gotta do research before making these videos dawg.

I know this is more recent, but an all-time list is incomplete without Appalachian State vs Michigan in 2007.
App State was really good though
You clearly don’t know anything about college football, Jacksonville state is in Alabama NOT Florida
Stop claiming to be a college football expert
Montana is in the Midwest region not a West Coast state
thats gotta be cap. no way ohio is considered in the same region as montana
and besides, people just call any state west of texas, "west coast state"
It’s in the big sky conference, which is a west coast conference

NDSU also beat Kansas St in 2013 when K State was the reigning big 12 champs
Both teams involved in that Washington/Montana upset were in their respective national title games this year
I was hoping for you to mention 2015 Citadel beating South Carolina

Idaho was actually one of the top teams in FCS this year same with Sacaramento State if you did your research

Idaho made it to the FCS quarterfinals this year. They were not a bad team by any means
I thought jax state was in Florida too until a few months ago, they’re in Louisiana
They’re not in Louisiana either 😂😂
Bro it’s Jacksonville Alabama
Jacksonville NC
ITS ALABAMA
North Carolina
Sac state just beat stanford this year. Sac State has a little good team. The coach for stanford coached at Sac State.
