It was considered an upset at the time because Michigan State went 3-9 the previous season. Three years later Michigan State beat Michigan in Ann Arbor as a 24 point underdog, which should have been included in this video.
Plus MSU only went 2-5 in 2020. Both teams sure turned it around the next season with Michigan going 12-2 making it to the College Football Playoff, and MSU finishing 11-2 winning the Peach Bowl.
