This is honestly one of my favorite coasters. Maybe it’s the scale that makes the elements feel so impactful, but it’s basically the best case scenario for a B&M hyper, which I love.
I think Levi is the best of all. I may be bragging in a "fanboy" fashion, but no one has heard of him because he is landlocked. "Destiny shall retain thee. Thou Shalt Not Travel, Leviathan Rule Supreme Forever" (hopefully my next job will just fund a visit to Fury 325)
This is at my home park, I’ve ridden so many times that I can’t even count. It’s SOOOOO underrated. People underestimate leviathan because number 1, fury exists and number 2, it’s short. People keep forgetting that this is a prototype and that it was B&ms first try at a 300 footer. Anyways that was a great review. Canada is happy to have you back!
Ooooooh! I can't wait to ride it! I have a couple subscribers of mine who have Canada's Wonderland as their home park, and they all love my channel very much. And there's a BIG chance I'll be there this year! WOOHOO!!
Ranking gigas I've been on. 1. Leviathan 2. Millenium force 3. Orion 4. Intimidator 305 Haven't been on Fury yet. I like gigas with Airtime which is why I like them in this order.
I brought my wife yesterday for her 1st visit to canadas Wonderland. This was the 1st ride we went on, and she had no idea what she was getting into. She was terrified(really so was i), but afterward, she thanked me for tricking her to ride the most intense ride at the park. If she had done a lesser ride beforehand she wouldn't have been able too. This ride is 10/10. Soul temporarily leaves your body. Must ride
I feel what Leviathan is missing by comparison to Fury are those 1st half turns. I've heard people say that those turns give airtime, but I didn't think they did. They do show off the speed. From the treble clef onward, Fury delivers 4 airtime moments in addition to the drop. Leviathan gives 3 airtime moments in addition to the drop, but it doesn't take as much time to show off the speed, which B&M learned from.
This ride has always had a special place in my heart. I rode it in its opening year in May 2012, and it blew me away. It felt so different from Behemoth because of one thing: speed. Leviathan was built with speed in mind, and it shows. It was fast in 2012, but every year I felt that this ride kept getting faster and faster. I think my fastest rides were in 2018 in July, and it was hauling the mail. This is by far one of B&M's best creations, and while it may be short, you can't deny the creativity that B&M had to use in order to fit such a large coaster into such a skinny plot of land. Without Leviathan, I don't even think Cedar Fair could have done the entrances that Carowinds and Cedar Point have with GateKeeper and Fury 325. Leviathan really paved the way for that too. In terms of capacity, I think the crew does a great job efficiently running all three trains. They would normally dispatch the next train when the train is just entering the hammerhead turn at the far end of the ride, and for me, I move through the line real quick. I don't stand in the same spot for a long time. And with loose articles, they will sometimes ask the guests to place their bags on their arms to carry them into the bins to speed up the capacity even more, which is honestly genius if you ask me.
You also gotta thank Canada's Wonderland for installing Heaters under the track in the station, riding the coaster on a cold May Morning led to a boring, sluggish mess... until they added the heaters, when they're on, it literally feels like how it runs on a hot summer day
This guy is so good. I rode this in June 2022 and the trims were OFF. The train hauled around the overback right after. IMO this is a front row ride, but this is a great ride either way. Anyone else appreciate how fast the chain lift goes on this? It slows down at the top, but it's definitely a quick ascent.
Those are about my feelings too. I really enjoyed all my rides on Leviathan, even if it isn't quite as good as other gigas. The staff were doing such a great job with operations on my days, keeping the line to about 20 minutes. I got Fast Lane the 2nd day to maximize my rides on the 3 B&Ms. Leviathan & Yukon Striker are among the smoothest B&Ms I've ever ridden, as neither had even a tiny rattle for me.
One thing he missed is that in the back row you get some mild ejector over that little drop in the break run when it bends down. Also make sure to ride later in the day cuz that’s when it warms up and it really makes a difference. I’m glad to have it so close to me, and it’s a great night ride
You know when Leviathan was first built it always scared me because it's so loud but I definitely think I'll enjoy it cause it looks fun to me it feels like being on an airplane since you go up in the air it's very smooth and you go down really fast
I rode this for the first time last week. 1st time I got the front, second time I rode the back! I'm definitely going back soon with a fast lane so I can ride it all day! Both times riding it I was yelling "WHOOOOOOOOOOA!!"
It may not be the world's tallest and longest full-circuit roller coaster but it is definitely the British Commonwealth Realm's tallest and longest full-circuit roller coaster by far.
I was on that for the first time a few weeks ago, and is still my favourite credit, it absolutely blew my mind, and personally no spot felt slow, though it was incredibly hot so that could be why, and hot take i dont think the final break is as bad as people say
Diamondback will be my first b&m hyper and Orion will be my first b&m giga in just over two weeks! In exactly 2 weeks, I'll be at Kentucky kingdom, two days before kings island!
Wow I was literally on this thing an hour and a half ago! I look forward to your thoughts! Love me them night rides! Middle seats are stealthily the best.
The awkward pacing in the 2nd part is probably the biggest sign of B&M not knowing what to do with a giga yet (it being their first). This seems solved with both Fury and Orion. Fury being known as a top 10 coaster with its pacing, and Orion while most consider it short is both well paced and paced with variety.
Recently went just yesterday and now they no longer accept row requests for both Leviathan and Behemoth. It really pissed me off as I came all the way from Chicago just for it. Ended up getting two rides, once in row 7 and then row 5 in the evening. Still the best coaster I’ve ever done (hopefully I can get to cedar point next summer though). Still extremely disappointed with the operators as most of if not all of them were rude. Interestingly I didn’t gray out at all on the pullout both times, the first of which was my first ride on it ever. Hot summer day so no trims hit anywhere in the park besides once on behemoth. Pretty decent first visit
@@CanobieCoasteryeah it is understandable that sometimes they need to prioritize efficiency but it’s odd cause even later in the evening when the lines were lower they still didn’t accept requests, weird ngl. Never experienced that at a six flags park
