This video will show you start to finish how to make traditional wood arrows for recurve bows or longbows. It includes making sure the arrow is straight, attaching the knock and heads, fletching the arrow, burning the fletching, and even how to make your own blunt tip for your arrows. My dad was going to show me how to make arrows the night before one of our hunts because it had been a while since I had made them. I decided to film it so that others could see the process! I found your video some time ago. I enjoyed the easy going I’ve been doing this for decades, it works, no nonsense vibe.
I recently had some good wood arrows made. Just before Christmas two points came off. In my profession I have lots of glues & the means to melt.
This morning I remembered this vid. Can I fix them? Yes I can!
