Miquella is the reason we even have torrent. The promotional imagery shows Miquella on Torrent. When Ranni finds us, she explains Torrent is a gift from its previous owner. Miquella basically chose us from the start to deal with Radahn and Mohg.
I think that Romania only feels easy because she feels like an old school souls boss and actually has openings for you to heal and attack rather than just having constant attack chains that never end. I think shes actually one of the best designed bosses in the game.
Nah too easy for her to be the best but definitely more enjoyable one right up there with Bayle and messmer. I purposely died 3 times on her after dodging for like a minute when her health was a pixel left just to listen to her ost it's my fav ost in the dlc right above Bayle ost
Snowbike (Soulslike) Mike really leveled up the last couple of months. It seems like since he started to watch beyond the Xbox borders, he became a multi-dimensional character handling a Fromsoft game like a birthday party for kids able to take over the lead of the Kinda Funny Empire!!! Watch out, Greg!!!!😊
can confirm that watching andy use midra's weapon/signature move on gideon was hysterical and completely trivalized the fight. all my homies hate gideon
That last boss leans fully into just being unfair. Too much visual clutter and attacks that feel impossible to dodge. Really ruins what’s otherwise a cool fight, definitely see the second phase getting nerfs to make it more tolerable. I beat it last night but it just didn’t feel fun. If I do another run I’ll just have to do a cheese build for him. I had issues with Messmer’s visual clutter too but came around on it. By comparison it’s much better than Radahn’s
I'm an hour to 2 hours in and not enjoying it. I've fought a demi human boss that feels like a fight ive done a ton in the main game. The dragon I fought was the same nonsense dragon fight as in the main game. Then the big furnace dude feels like a chore rather than a fight. Oh no i miss timed a jump, I'm dead now, because the thing just spams stomps and my max level weapons don't do shit for damage. Like so far it's been all of the worst parts of the main game.
I loved this DLC so much, and I love this game so much, but the ending of the DLC felt so abrupt to me. I was super disappointed with the final memory from Miquella, it felt so short and I didn't feel like it added much more context to what we already knew. I wish we could've gotten an item to get a new ending for the game entirely, where we can see Miquella's age of compassion like we see the age of stars begin with Ranni. But that would complicate the final boss fight so I get it's not easy, but I dont know man I just was left feeling like I wanted a little bit more after the final fight.
If you guys didn’t fight boss after Ymir’s quest you didn’t finish it!!! I don’t want to spoil it but there’s a boss underneath the cathedral, and it’s related to the fingers
Maybe I have a different idea of what trivialize means. Doing a fight for 2 hours, then saying a mimic tear trivialized it, when you still took another 30 minutes of tries to finally win, does not sound like trivialization. That sounds like it made the fight manageable.
For me it was like 2-3 hours of attempts solo vs 10 mins of attempts with mimic tear. I wish the game was balanced more fairly for those that want 1v1, but sadly, some of these fights are too long and require too many perfect dodges to win without a broken build.
@@dicehands except it is, there's just more involved. dodge rolling isn't the only way to avoid damage and you don't need to wait for the boss to stop to do damage back
It’s odd how From still have sorted out seamless co-op when summoning has always been such a big part of all the games, more so with Elden Ring. The implementation of the mp has, in my opinion, always been From’s weakest aspect.
Interesting to hear that they added moves to the final boss after release. I know publishers often let reviewers play easier versions of games but that is kinda wild.
Make sense to kill radahn Cuz he's holding back the stars aka the eclipse. Then when the stars move eclipse happens. Godwyn goes through true death. Washes up at the suppressing tower
Reading the description of the Golden Epitaph, I wonder if Miquella's original plan was Radahn's soul in Godwyn's body. Clearly the eclipse plan didn't work so he had to settle for Mohg's corpse instead.
@@AJHawke they have godwyns body. It was corrupted by him only half dying. Once the eclipse happens tho, aka rafahn dying he would die a true death, his soul going to the shadow realm. He could then use mohgs body, and that's how you get the mohgwyn dynasty

@@moonrabbit2334 well that’s what I mean. It’s an enjoyable fight that’s balanced and fair, unlike say Gaius with his broken hitboxes.
Romania is a quite different boss in Europe. Its RELANNA.

I think Hornsent is a real one. I summoned him during Mesmer, and he's definitely on my team after that. But we'll see.
Bold move having the spoiler cast when half of us can’t get past that final boss 😂
This is KFG Vol. 3, Episode 45 (Episode 529 overall)
Loved this episode! Currently in the final boss and doing some map cleanup on Erdtree, I absolutely love it.
The other piece of lore is the origin of the fingers and the fact that they never had the guidance of the greater will.

I’m just here to say
Fuck the final boss
That is all
Miquella is basically Griffith
Am I the only one who fought 5 npcs in the Leda fight? It was 3 on 5 and I haven’t heard anyone say more than 3v 3 yet
I had a 5v2! 5v3 if you count my Mimic Tear of course!

This was such a fun video 😊
Zero mention of medra in the lore section?
HOLLUP I’ve only got the final boss left, and you’re telling me I somehow missed a 3v3 NPC battle?!? Where is this?
Its right before the final boss

They talked about it in the video. Although that boss isn’t even the end of the quest. I don’t know if they did the whole quest.
