    Really Interesting video. I've been very tempted to buy one as a commuter HOWEVER the servicing intervals/costs are crazy. I would be doing 6800 miles every year so I would need 6 services in the first year alone! That's about £550!!! MGB and other "cheaper" bike brands seem to be employing the same marketing strategy as Computer Printer Manufacturers and Mens Razors. (The initial purchase of the item is cheap but the subsequent cartridges/blades/services are where the real money is made! Yes, you could do the servicing yourself but to maintain the warranty during the first 2 years you gotta get it done at a dealer. There is no such thing as a free meal, as they say!

    Hey Chris Nice little bike. Also good to see my old Zontes X300 as the backdrop to your specs & cost of riding scene!
    I did you a very good deal on that one eh? 😁
    Hope one of those red Lexmoto Apollo's turn up soon so we can do another!

    I would just service these bikes myself. On the whole these four stroke engines are tough with regular oil changes

    • @Ridingreviews

      Yes only problem with doing it yourself is you will void the warranty

    Good revue, obviously as I'm looking at something similar at the moment 😬
    Seems quite a good option to me, but that's just personal choice. Shame it is so much work out of the box for the dealers & a shame the gear box isn't a bit more rangy for green laning & a 6 speed, but it is what it is. I would be tempted to get the Honda 125 Adventure, but will it wvwe show up???
    I don't think you mentioned the oil cooler, which looks like a nice extra, that I'm sure the Mirage hasn't got?
    I wonder if there's room to fit slightly more aggressive tyres for that slightly extended green lane experience?

    • @Ridingreviews
      @Ridingreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for the oil cooler you could fit a slightly bigger tyre
