Me too, man. I hope someone jumps on it. Yes, Tom is an Awesome guy! I'm happy you guys got to chat! Take er easy Tim!! Enjoy the rest of the day, sir!
Great video Doug. I believe at the end of the day. It boils down to sales. These larger company’s can’t survive on just one product. Can’t wait to see the next one!
If it worked like that. Brother that would definitely be a good product. The clear coat on the new cars are getting thinner and thinner. I can't wait to see who comes to competes in this.
That makes Two of us Tim!. A challenge was made about 5 or 6 years ago at SEMA and NOBODY took them up on it... if nothing else I'd Love to get a couple of people to come out just to see the side by sides of companies to CSI! Thank you so much for watching hing brother!
What's up, buddy?! Yes, sir, I've never done that. However, I know it can be done if there's enough clear. Ceram-X and XX are unique products. Water clean up, too. No solvents or special chemicals needed to clean your pads up. Great stuff. Take care!
Should I wait for more of THE XX version to come back in stock or just purchase the regular X version. I don't own a Rotary just a DA. I am working on some finicky soft black clear coat on my Toyota. So have to be careful on the clear. Thank you
@btbd2785 Hey, gm! The Ceram-X is going to work fine for you. The XX is the same abrasive, just more of it. I love the original formula (Ceram-X), and in this application, it's going to be great for you! Keep me posted if you don't mind. I really like feedback
I just ordered the Ceram X. Cant wait to try it out👍Once I get it I have a couple of vehicles to try it out on. I will definitely give you the update after I use it. I am sure it will work as good as you say it does.:)
I checked everywhere for the XX and they are sold out. So you need a Rotary with a wool pad for the heavy defects? Or can you go DA with Wool or microfiber pad? Thank you Really want to try it. Look up Concept Chemiclas P12 Heavy cut compund. They are out of the UK. They make there own chemiclas They have videos in real time going against the biggest brands , 3M. 3D, CARTECH. MEZERNA ETC. and it takes top place. Autoality sells it. I also looked at ONYX Supream cut compound. Another company out of the UK and they also make there own products. Love to see a showdown between CSI X or X and these 2 products!
Hi there. Sorry, I haven't put any description up. My bad. I will do that right now. All I have are two websites or You can shop it on Amazon... let me get to it. Thank you so much for the support and the inquiry!
Would love 2 see that challenge in full sun on hot blk paint..ONLY product that can work and work well on hot paint and btw cleans up with only water...
However it works that’s crazy considering how we polish scratches out I don’t know how it’s possible to not address the surrounding paint to create a level surface. But who knows maybe he’s figured it out. And I used his prior polish and it was really only Rotary polish it didn’t have enough bite with a DA unless you used more pressure than usual. Other compounds had better performance with less pressure creating less heat. That was my experience with it anyways, gave away the polish and finishing polish. So I don’t doubt this can be better but I’d have to see it working I don’t get how it would only polish down the outer edges of a scratch using conventional pads and polishers unless. Not just that we’re not getting a good mechanical clean of the surrounding paint. Yeah I’m not saying it doesn’t do what he says but I’d like to see it.
I understand that. What I'm saying is, the abrasives are very small, that way it doesn't dig into the paint aggressively. It has been tested under microscope versus 3M, versus Farecla, and it removed LESS clear coat while removing the scratch. This Polish was tested and beat the industry "STANDARD" BY nearly 50%, which at the time Not even 3M could do. This Polish is much more efficient "cutting" with rotary and wool, "finishing" with red and a da tool. That said, a blue da pad and this Polish will "Cut" as the others do. U can also opt for microfiber and a da. As for the heat, I don't know what you were using but this Polish, in my experience stays much cooler on the panel than others because it's Waterbourne, thereby staying cooler. Maybe give it another shot. Try this new XX, it has the same abrasives as Ceram-X, just more of it! Thanks for sharing. Much appreciated!
@@detailit yeah the polish I tried didn’t have nearly enough bite on cured paint that wasn’t sanded. If you sanded the paint it worked great removing sanding marks stuff was awesome , but that was it tho. Tried do a one step on it without sanding and Oberk outperformed it , Menzerna , Griots , Koch Chemie all this compound and polishes outperformed his product. Ans it’s not like I didn’t want it to work, I’m just the detailer I just want it to work so it’s easy on me. But maybe his new stuff being it has twice the abrasives is better at cutting and finishing this time around. Can you show us you using it ? That would be cool. Try matching it up against Lthe last details “ the last cut plus “ on some regular GMC paint the older paint the harder stuff. And yeah bro by all means if it out works the brands I mention I’d love to give it a go.
@AmirAbdullah hey I see your point. I believe in Tom's Technology, ya know. I Love that it only takes water to clean pads, paint etc. I also would agree that some compounds do heavy lifting quicker with foam pads. On rotary with wool this stuff is quick and safe. I also HATE that most heavy cut compounds have HUGE abrasives in them that then break down and absolutely damage clear. I think some people use agressive compounds when not needed. In other words, they take off unnecessary clearcoat. Obviously with CSI CERAM-X, if you just keep Grinding away pass after pass, it too can do some crazy damage. My faith in Ceram-X comes from the ideas behind the formula and reading test documents. By trade, Tom is a Paint & Body man. When insurance companies were testing Ceram-X, they found that it removed half as much clear as the BIG Names in the industry, namely 3M. As I age, I'm finding myself trying to preserve clear and I feel much safer polishing with Ceram-X over other compounds... u should give it a shot again. If you still don't like it, that's OK, not everyone will like it. Hey I appreciate your feedback. Be good
@AmirAbdullah watch a CSI video. He has a dedicated YT channel Or watch Pro Paint & Body, also Tom's channel. He gives his cell # out. Shoot him a call, he will chat with ya. He may also send u an 8oz. Sample, yes...
I would ❤ to see that competition! Tom is one of the MOST genuine people I have ever met.

AGREED....ive takn out 300 grit sandpaper scratches with ceram x.

So this is specifically to help get rid of RIDS??
This is the Pure polishers polish. It's for RIDS, deep scratches, cut-n-rub work. Full spectrum paint & Body or detailing top to bottom

I'm withya! I'd love to see that as well and then measure how much clear those "COMPOUNDS" remove VS. Ceram-X or the XX.
@detailit
Pitch the idea to the owner of Ceram X. See what he says👍
Do u have a link to by this new CSI product to remove scratches
