it just hit me. when strife dashed forwards here and fired quick shots it was just like his gameplay in darksiders: genesis where dashing while firing will fire off 2-3 quick normal shots. i love it.
I love the design of the demons in this game. The upside down wings represent the antithesis to the angels otherwise upright wings. Subtle symbolism to being the opposite of angels
You can tell that Envy's voice actor was having a lot of fun in the endgame. And her design is pretty cool; quite symbolic of her element, envious of the power of the horsemen. So it's fitting that she takes on the form of an amalgamation of them all. Unfortunately, it's clear that she would be nothing without this power. And by now, you are just way too deadly for even her combine to stand up to. While her attacks do some decent damage, yours do as well and you have plenty of resources to annihilate her.

Council aren't bad guys though, just asshole bureacrats with backstab disorder. They haven't started the apocalypse and neither are they the mastermind behind the shadows.
Probably not cause it doesn't feel like there is a lot left to do before the events of Darksiders 1 took place (remember the events of 2 and 3 are taking place after the false start of the apocalypse but, before War is sent out to fix things) for a full Strife game but, a large dlc focused on what Strife was doing during Darksiders 1, 2, and 3 would work. Edit: Nevermind. I retract this statement. There actually might be enough for Darksiders 4 to be solely focused on Strife.

My secret cutscene was with Satan here being mad, and Lilith being scared. Something about Fury not knowing the power she possesses. It seems like I got the better ending, since it seemed like I actually caused Satan plans to derail a bit. Might be because I saved every human and did the Lord of Hollows secret quest.
That last scene with strife is brilliant. It's the point where you realise that fight is about to go down very differently to the slaughter you would expect
I would think it will take a very long time to consider what should be next in the DS 4 game. With all new consoles out now there is no telling how far the game could progress. And with the unknown boss in the credits at the end off the third game still a mystery I would reckon it will take the incredible strength all 4 have. The environments would have to be very, very big play map. I'm happy to wait another 3-4 years if that is what it takes to make the game.
The unknown boss isn’t unknown. He was confirmed to be Lucifer in Darksiders 2. In the game he is referred to as the dark prince or the prince of hell. You get the idea.

Probably saving the resurrected humans and getting them to the safe place where Fury is protecting them while also digging into the motives of everyone involved in the false start of the apocalypse with it ending with him discovering the one behind it all Lucifer.
Where is a safe place for the poor and unwanted? A place that has not been destroyed...those pools can even cross into other worlds and were forbidden by angels according to Jamaerah the Scribe. The only other thing I can think of is...that Haven is built like the Tree of Life. Now I think Strife is held captive.... 😥

The same for Death he sacrificed himself to save human kind and War and when War broke the seal Death gets resurrected for there is always 4 horsemen. But Furys is different.
Well we know War's game is first but how long do the events there last? I don't think it jumps from one game to the next there is bound to be some overlap.
We all know what happens in the end. But I guess, with the timeline, Darksiders 1 and 2 finish at the same time, though the story to Darksiders 2 was actually at the moment the first one to start (I think it had the longest timeframe out of all). Fury's story, however, ends before Darksiders 1 even begun due to War still being imprisoned and humans still around and Strife being alive (because of Death and War each gets one of Strife's guns in their game).
While def some bugs in game that need attention I was overall pleased this game. I had some worries that it be garbage. But I was wrong. Now can we please get "Ultramarine 2" JFC. I need to know what happens to Captain Titus.

This is a different studio now, the design and everything is similar but not the same. DS1 definitely had better art but this one is not too fat from that
You seem to be confusing art style with quality. This is supposed to have a comic look since it's based on a comic, if they made this game with pseudo-realistic graphics like "Detroit: Become Human" then Darksiders 3 wouldn't have the same feeling or appeal. The quality is fine for this type of game.
What I find interesting is that Envy takes a form that looks like an imitation of the Four Horsemen: Fury's figure (Although not her cup size), Death's mask and scythe, Strife's gunmanship, and War's strength (That greatsword it wields, not to mention its hood). One can't help but feel that the ones that Envy, well, envies is the Four Horsemen, and not the other Deadly Sins.
Easy guide for the ones who still have to kill this boss: Step 1: Get a good amount of Wrath Shards. Step 2: Have your whip/ Edge of scorn (the blue statis hollow form upgraded as high as you can) Step 3: Try to dodge/evade as much as you can, and use the wrath skill of the statis hollow alot. It gives you a shield, then massively dps the boss when you use it. Try to dodge/heal enough so you can hold out.
Even with the powers of the other Sins, Envy was still the most pathetic of them all. In the end, she was just a whiney, little kid throwing a tantrum.
That's the thing: Lust even said that she never had any front line battle experiences, she was literately the weakest of the Seven, even with the power of her brothers and sister and using aspects of the Four Horsemen. She envied her brothers and sister, she envied the horsemen, and she even envied all of creation.

Yep, Strife was Jones (the name of the black guy he took) all along. I have to admit, I was shocked too when I found out that Jones was Strife. Made me like him more. Guess, we will have to find out in the next game what made him become human.

Yep, Strife was Jones (the name of the black guy he took) all along. I have to admit, I was shocked too when I found out that Jones was Strife. Made me like him more. Guess, we will have to find out in the next game what made him become human.

I just finished the game on PS4. And I can tell the frame rate different compare to PC. Much different. It is time for PS5.

PC is far better, every attacks look so smooth. Only reason I bought PS4 version so i can sell it out. PS4 version is like ps2 frame rate. It's that bad.... @@saunga1

Yes, I'm guessing Strife changed sides from the Council during his assignment just like Fury did.
It was hints due to the way the guy was talking, he never said us when talking about humanity and he never feared Fury as if he knew her.
