1st part sounds a bit like swinging Mozart :). Very nice rehearsal. I watched most of the movies on this channel. I love listening to Chopin Fantaisie-Impromptu op. posth. 66 in your performance. Thank you much, greetings form Warsaw, Poland
It’s not young Beethoven, he had already made pathetic(8) tempest(17?) quasi una fantasía(13) -Im not sure about the number of the sonatas-. Yet te resemblance to Mozart’s music is clear.
Hi Paul your videos inspire me and give me motivation to play some of the pieces you play. I would love to hear your interpretation of Ravel - Jeux d'eau or gaspard de la nuit. I know you are currently working on the Beethoven sonatas but maybe youll find the time. These are my fav pieces and I really like your interpretations of the most pieces you play
Hey Paul, any chance you could revisit Ravel’s Pavane pour une infante defunte? Your last recording was 11 years ago I believe, and I would love to hear it on your Feurich.
Hey now I'm actually writing better than Beethoven's sonatas. He put his best into symphony nine didn't he. I hate recitalism. It's the piece not the player that counts
@@langschwerts I have an advantage beethoven didn't have which is cds I listened and listened and absorbed the classical style and voice leading and the talent for melody

🇵🇱
thank God for creating Paul Barton . You area true human being .
Огромное вам спасибо за эту сонату. Слушали с удовольствием.
This was still young Beethoven, very Mozart...
Mozart didn't have such bad melodies...
@@mousikopaigmonas23 do you can explain your point please? Thanks!!!!
@@mousikopaigmonas23 how is this melody bad? quite a lot of people enjoy it, very cheerful and pretty difficult to voice properly.
feedmemusic Ahh too bad Beethoven didn’t have the honor to meet you so you could instruct him on good melody writing 😪

Hey Paul,

Your performences are stunning and I think I'll learn a lot from it :))
Invigoratingly beautiful.

Caro maestro Barton, perché al minuto 3:04 suona il do# invece del do naturale, come è scritto?
Excelente Paul!
It’s so beautiful 🎈🌷

Bravíssimo
May I ask you what hardware do you use to set the camera in a way that can take the full keyboard like this? Thank you
I would imagine an overhead camera, with a tall curved stand/being fixed in the ceiling
Somehow it feels like you're playing this piece like a jazz musician would. To relaxed not enough "depth".
This is the first sonata i learned, i got surprised when i recognized the sheet at the thumb
