Konig Motorcycles...... The outboard-powered GP bikes!

Three variations of the outboard powered 2 stroke Konig motorcycles on show at the Stafford classic bike show. The Seeley Konig 500GP together with a Daval Konig 750 and a Kim Newcombe replica 500. All the bikes are owned and built by Dave & Dan Hutchens.

Konigs sound fabulous, gives me goosebumps everytime i see or hear one. Such an interesting machine in whatever chassis.Great sidecar engine as well.

I saw my first König in Bielefeld ( Germany) 1975. The driver was Ernst Hiller. What a sound........

I didn't know Seeley made a frame for the Konig! Konigs are my favorite two stroke race bike of the seventies. (alot of qualifiers, but there's alot of bikes out there)
