Hey I’ve few questions as I’m also a time student actually what do you think about aimcat don’t you think they quite not even quite but very tough when we compare it with cat actually paper and any tips how can I use cat material effectively sometimes I’m not able to solve sone questions in quants and when I see sone solution I never understand that what they’re doing or trying to make us understand idk so can you give sone tips
AIMCAT is too hard, its way above CAT level, I attempted cat 2021 and I had aimcat simcat and CL test series, and according to my experience, CL were the best, not too hard, not too easy, very balanced. Im repeating cat again this year and surely only going for CL this time
AIMCATS are designed to be always tougher than CAT. In a sense, they prepare you for the worst! After few months, you will get access to SIMCATS as well, they are a bit easier than AIMCATs. Just don't get depressed/worried when you score very less percentile in AIMCATs. Your actual percentile will be way more than AIMCATs (if you study offcourse) The study material is exhaustive. It's nearly impossible to complete everything. Yes, some of the solutions given in the booklets are far fetched and tricky to understand. But they always have an alternate method to solve. For example in AMA, TSD, etc. We had an option to send our doubts to the teacher via whatsApp and he/she used to send an explanation video of it.
I scored very bad in my first aimcat and feeling so demotivated. How to overcome from this and how to increase my score in the next mock ??. Can you please help me 😞😔
Bro, I wanted to ask that for Varc,I study like 4 articles daily shared in the group,and write down the words and understand the meaning and make sentence and once a week try to revise the words jotted down and for articles reading,I just read and at some lines I understand what the author is trying to say,and some I am not,so should I write down what he is trying to say or just understand in the mind (I am very much bit confused for this portion) ,I try to solve 2 RC 's daily from Arun Sharma book,For quant I study from the theory given and the examples and from Rodha You tube channel and do atleast 50 -60 questions daily and understand what the question trying to say and break it in parts and for calucaltions i am learning tables till 30,percents,sqaures,etc. of which I came to know till now,For Di Lr I practice from elites grid,and using Arun Sharma books,what else I need to do,As i am self preparing and so bit of scared, confused and wanting perfect prepartion😑
The study materials given by TIME were so exhaustive that I did not felt any need to buy any other books. But before starting T.I.M.E, I had solved R.S. Agarwal's LR and QA just to get a head start! But, if you are not joining any classes, then Arun Sharma's books will be a good option. (In my opinion)
Yes it is absolutely possible. But you need to be consistent and take it very seriously. I would suggest to take Mocks test subscription atleast so that you will have some results to manage your efforts. (Note: One of my friend did self study. He is in one of the BLACKI colleges now.)
I have weekly targets.. So even if I am not able to stick to my goal plan for couple of days, I make sure to cover every thing in that week by adjusting the load to remaining days..... Regarding Motivation: Try to give mocks right from the beginning... After getting the percentile figures, you will be automatically motivated.... 🥲🤣

Yep, schedule keeps changing. This was during initial days when I just started prep. Few months later my schedule shifted to night instead of day.. But what matters is consistency ..

I joined Online class for CAT 2021 and I really liked it. It saved a lot of my time (specially, I was working for first 2-3 months along with CAT prep before finally quitting my job). So the main advantage is that you will save a lot of time which could be utilized in giving a mini mock, revising concepts or simply chilling out! One thing I missed out by taking online classes was that, there was no peer learning and I was not able to compare my progress with my batch mates. This sounds very nerdy, but its not! However, I will always prefer online....

I really recommend join coaching coz it gives you direction for how to prepare and what to . U just need direction.
