Just a small point: for any beginners, the drill does not have 15 speeds; it has 15 torque settings. The trigger allows variable speed and there is a two-speed switch on top (1&2).
I bought this exactly a year ago and as a caretaker of a large school it has been worked hard most days for many jobs on many surfaces. This is an absolutely flawless bit of kit. Great review.
it's been great though it hadn't been used heavily. l also bought the DeWalt DCF887N 18v Li-Ion XR Brushless 3-Speed Impact Driver without a battery to accompany it which I use loads.
Just got mine but when I registered the drill the date on the drill was 2024 and the guarantee drop down list only went up to 2023 but still manage to register. hope this makes sense, but it is a lovely drill.
I bought the set i got stak case with charger 2x4ah batteries combi drill and impact driver, very happy with it all dewalt is the way good video tho keep up the good work
18v and 20v are the exact same, America use 20v labelling as its the initial voltage when pressed but runs at 18V which is the European way of labelling.
@@Robertrebor Try this: tighten the chuck until the 3 jaws touch each other, then tighten with your hand as strong as you can. than try to open it with hand ( all on empty chuck without drill bit). Many times this helps

Good review been looking at these and using my old bosch for a screwdriver, may have to walk down to screwfix and invest!!
Bought one and the chuck was wobbly so beware and maybe a check before purchase.

There are a few Amazon reviews saying they've had problems with the chuck wobbling - making screwing a problem and bit breakage. Have you noticed any?

Yes i bought mine in UK and it has the metal chuck too. Just used it for the 3rd time this weekend and the chuck is stuck and won't loosen!
