I think the banners are absolutely perfect for me. Already got C2 Kazuha, no need for Mualani. Kachina is free. Bennett and Xinyan both C6. Now I can safely save for Kinich. And hopefully Freminet and Mika is with him.
I'm hoping mika doesn't rerun until venti's rerun because i'm saving for constellations and I'm going to be genuinely annoyed if i miss out on Mika cons lol. He's c1 level 90 and used in every abyss for me

xinyan could be played with mualani instead of xiangling cuz of high xiangling energy problems and I also have xiangling on c6, but xinyan only at c4 so it's kinda good getting her to c6
Xiangling's energy problems are the least of concerns when it comes to playing her with Mualani. Xiangling is amazing, but she REQUIRES Bennett in order to maximize her potential, which means the only way you could run XL with Mualani is to waste a flex slot on running Bennett who will ONLY benefit Xiangling since Mualani doesnt benefit from ATK as an HP scaler, whereas you could just use Xinyan or Dehya and then have that extra flex slot for someone who benefits Mualani such as hydro resonance with Mona or Candace on instructors, Kazuha or Sucrose for vv shred on hydro (tight timing with swirling hydro, its barely longer than Mualani's field time (3-4s per 3 stack NA) but it works), or someone else who buffs Mualani in some other way such as Yunjin, Zhongli, etc...
the 4 stars might be placeholders to not spoil the actual banner, who knows, I'll cope at least. Chevreuse needs a rerun and bennie was just ran on 4.7, so I really dont believe he'll be on another banner rn

Xinyan and Bennett arent questionable at all. Bennett is self explanatory, hes the most broken atk buffer in the game and the best buffer for any pyro dps, and Xinyan is unironically one of Mualani's best teammates, as she needs a shield and good off field pyro application, and since Xiangling doesnt work with Mualani (cuz no Benny since Mualani scales off HP), her only 2 options for off field pyro applications for her vapes are Dehya and Xinyan (Thoma doesnt work because there arent any normal attacks before Mualani nukes to set off his off field application). So Xinyan is there to compliment Mualani for the f2p players and those who wont be taking Dehya as their free 5* in the anniversary event. The 4 star lineup is actually amazing.
The devs are focusing on new and returnee players atm. I say this because of the stellar reunion revamp, more rewards with exploration, and the local specialties map function, so it isnt weird to see bennett in the banner. As for the other four star like Xinyan, idk lol. On a personal note, I only really have c1 Bennett so seeing him on the banners make me really happy. Im pulling on Kazuha banner with 82 pulls, 23 pity and guanrateed :))

No thats likely not the case since this banner actually makes perfect sense. Kachina was already guaranteed to begin with and is a no brainer, Benny is just turbo broken and virtually necessary for most team comps in the game (many are literally just utterly useless without him), and Xinyan is one of the only 2 viable pyro applicators for Mualani besides Dehya. The banner perfectly compliments itself.
